9/10. These older Disney cartoon movies have been around for over half a century and are still as good today against the more recent ones.

I really like Alice In Wonderland too, but it doesn't tend to get much favor. It has more of a cultist following to it, but perhaps the surreal dreamlike and beautiful quality of it makes this more fitting. It is so clever and inventive and even stunning in parts to look at. Much better than Peter Pan. Agreed on all points. It combined both of Lewis Carrol's books beautifully, but I do wonder what two separate movies about each book would have been like.

8/10
I haven't seen it in years but it's obviously a classic and the spaghetti scene is iconic.

What's lovely about this film is that it really isn't geared towards children with the adult themes. In today's culture of everyone looking to get offended over everything though, the ethnic stereotypes would cause butthurt.

And here's the rest: LADY AND THE TRAMP had a few songs here and there, while LADY AND THE TRAMP PART II: SCAMP'S ADVENTURE is more consistent as a musical. That's the only improvement in an otherwise bland sequel. Once again, the protagonist of a Disney sequel is the child of the protagonist of the 1st installment. Is that a good or bad thing? It really depends on the character and SCAMP just isn't very interesting. It doesn't help that Scott Wolf doesn't sound like a kid. Look up a picture of the junkyard dogs and then look up one of the pound dogs from the 1st movie. Tell me the former aren't copies of the latter. Why did director Darrell Rooney decide and/or aprove that the faces of JIM DEAR & DARLING (the dogs' owners) should be shown more often? Why does JIM DEAR hang the hats SCAMP has bitten? When SCAMP sings about wanting to run away in WORLD WITHOUT FENCES, no one hears him. That's OK; it's part of the musical genre logic. However, he yells "So long, you house dogs!" and other things after the song has ended. Do you want to get caught, you moron?! 4/10 LADY AND THE TRAMP 2019 4/10 ------------------------------------- You can read comments of other movies in my blog.
