I am generally not a fan of her, as she lacks a solid presence as her overall presence is too dry for my taste. but with that said... her best performance, which is the role I would say I liked her the most in is... 1)Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (2008) 2)Thor: Rangarok (2017) those are the only two movies she's appeared in where I got more of a neutral-to-positive opinion of her instead of a neutral-to-negative opinion of her. but I think it's because those characters suit her general dry presence and one has a little fun with it. p.s. but in terms of the movie itself... The Aviator (2004) is the best movie she appeared as it's the only one among my favorite movies in general. but I don't care for her in this movie as it's more of that technical/mechanical kind of acting. it's empty. Interestingly the least possible word I would use to describe Blanchett's acting is dry. If you haven't yet, you must watch Blue Jasmine (her best imo), Notes of a Scandal (see Blanchett go against Judi Dench) and the great sublime performance in Carol (2015) alongside Rooney Mara. Despite a small role, Blanchett and Pitt are impeccable in their ordinary roles in Babel (2006). I have yet to see Elizabeth.

tastytomatoesI just don't see her appeal around here as her overall presence is lacking. she's just not that appealing to watch on screen at the end of the day in my mind. I could not finish Blue Jasmine (in Jan 2014)/Carol (in Feb 2016) due to boredom. I am not going to solely blame her for that though as I think it was mostly the overall movie itself was just, well, truly boring. but given my general opinion of her, she was not helping the situation. I have not seen the other two movies you listed.
