Carol's 'no killing' decision endangering everyone, just like Morgan, except she's not even around.

Ezekiel's right hand man wants to attack some Saviours so that they'll in turn attack The Kingdom forcing Ezekiel to join forces with Rick. Carol's the 'fall guy' in the plan so Daryl doesn't go for it when he finds out.

That sounds like a good idea on paper, which means it won't happen and Richard will be made to look like a villain.

I still think if Morgan and Carol are that unwilling to get their hands dirty, they need to evacuate the area and not look back.

The first 2 episodes have been solid, enough so to really show just how average to mediocre the first half of the season was overall.
Another accent alert: the leader of the new group, The Scavengers, is Scottish. Why do they act, dress and talk like they're from some other planet in a futuristic, sci-fi movie?

Jadis is weird. I like her. She's now my #1 pick to kill Arat.
Daryl's lie to Carol is gonna bite him in the ass. She will find out Glenn's dead sooner or later.

Yes, they seem kind of weird to me. What got me was how they were all "trained" like dogs to follow her subtle little hand gesture commands. I saw her, (Jadis) on Talking Dead after, and she sounds British to me.

I liked this episode a little better than the first one. It was good to see the Carol and Daryl reunion, although they could have done more with it. Still irritated with Carol. She's gonna learn the truth, and she's gonna come back....I'm just impatient with the soap-opera-like pace! Then Daryl leaves, knowing that Richard was going to set her up to die and said she would die anyway out there by herself. Plus the Kingdom is the only place he is safe from the Saviors since they are still looking for him! Winslow- the armored/weaponized walker was pretty awesome! "Richonne" used pretty good teamwork. Michonne's idea to "use the walls" helped Rick neutralize Winslow quickly. They seem like they are getting more believable as a couple. Was Rick taking out Winslow an example of "reduced violence and gore"? I was surprised they didn't really show the actual kill. I was curious, since it had that helmet protecting its head. Without watching it again, I assume he decapitated it with something. I didn't really see what he was using for a weapon?
Pros: Father Gabriel didn't run away; he was forced; then found. Winslow Jadis seems cool, not sure I trust her Team Richonne Daryl/Carol Reunion A Deal with the Scavengers? (Will they keep it)? Of course...Daryl gets a new crossbow!!
Cons: Not showing the Winslow kill, (weak) Richard ready to sacrifice Carol Carol still doesn't have her sh!t together Daryl still in need of a bath/shower Morgan still being weak, (Lost his stick, and had the nerve to ask for it back....that could've ended bad for him)! Rosita STILL being a bitch, (I'm ready for her to die. I hope it is her, and not Sasha now). Daryl leaves the Kingdom, (WTF?)

Cons:Richard ready to sacrifice Carol A con for who? Richard has no reason for any connection to Carol?
Even her name, 'Jadis' has a futuristic sound to it. When she says 'up, up, up' it's like they've come up with a new language, like suddenly English wasn't good enough.

I think Jadis and crew feel like it's pointless to say a lot of empty words, so they shorten everything and keep it simple with small words, short sentences, and hand gestures.

I really liked the episode, 2 good episodes since the break,
Pros:
- I liked the Jadis character and can't wait to see more of her - Fr Gabriel was a man with a mission this episode - That armoured walker - I like Jerry, he is the Asian guy who is like a bodyguard for Ezekiel
Cons:
- Rosita please stop being a bitch already, it doesn't make you look any tougher - The Daryl and Carol reunion, I am probably one of the few who don't care about their whatever they have together - Morgan please wake the fck up already

Take him up versus up up up is the same number of syllables. I didn't mind the goofiness. Ever since we were introduced to Jesus the show has increased it's quirky characters and humour.
I saw an original Star Trek ep today and as soon as I saw Spock I was like, hey they copied his hair for Jadis'.

The walker was pretty cool. I really like Richard, so I expect him to die soon. I also really enjoyed the break from Negan. It was nice while it lasted.

They need to stop dragging this war out.
They could have accomplished what they did in the first 8 episodes in 4 episodes and by the mid season finale had them all grouped with Dwight helping.
My biggest problem with the show is they blow through promising stories (like Terminus, a handful of episodes) and slow wayyyyy down others (e.g. The Farm in season II and this Negan story)
