And to show how equitable (and yet difficult) I am, I'll trump myself (can I do that?) with Roman numerals (if a mini-series counts): QB VII (1974) Tom Gries (what's with this guy; he's hiding behind every number I think of!) Two issues there: 1) I should have stated in the rules that TV series count. Also individual episodes within TV series if they are self-contained and have their own titles. I will add that to the rules now. 2) I have said that English takes precedence over non-English, and that numerals take precedent over words. But you want a foreign numeral to take precedence over an English word. (Though traditionalists might argue that latin numerals have longer standing in England than arabic numerals). I shall take the view of the man in the street. The honest souls who voted in Trump in the USA and Johnson in the UK. I will not permit you to replace Seven with VII. I saw that series when it ran in the UK. It was pretty disturbing. And aroused much public discussion. It was also important in the history of UK broadcasting as it was the first really influential mini series.

Fair enough; I always defer to the resident quizmaster. And it serves me right for replacing Two For the Road with 2 Fast 2 Furious; I've never even seen the damned thing and am now ashamed that my name's associated with it on the scorecard.

It's the attack of the Hathaways! 23 Paces To Baker Street (1956) Henry Hathaway (at least I finally got away from that Gries fellow) Sorry, mattgarth has already posted The Number 23 (2007) dir: Joel Schumacher. Perhaps you are not cut out for street-walking after all.

Сорок первый (Forty-first) Russian , Eng. title, The Forty First (1956) Soviet Union Dir. Grigoriy Chukhray Look out, guys. PlanetX has entered the room. I had better fire up my Google Translate and hope it can cope with Russian, Armenian, Georgian, Uzbek numerals and who knows what else.

Сорок первый (Forty-first) Russian , Eng. title, The Forty First (1956) Soviet Union Dir. Grigoriy Chukhray You have done it again, tovaritch! Another great discovery on YouTube which I have missed. If it is half as good as Chukhray's Ballad of a Soldier, I shall be well happy. I just had a quick look and the print is good and the subtitles are clear. Another great compensation for not being able to watch DVDs at present. Many thanks.

I'm a streetwalker, London? Well, you have just profitably visited 29th Street, 34th Street, 44th Street, 92nd Street, and 110th Street. What other interpretation can I put on it? I know you are not a taxi-driver and no cop on the beat would cover all those precincts.

Ha ha, Sir Doghouse -- the number 23 has already been lassoed with the title (wait for it) THE NUMBER 23! Augh! So it has. One of the pitfalls of streetwalking: so much competition. I'll try to be more mindful of territory already staked out. You display a sound understanding of the ancient profession.
