with Ghostbusters...it should have been a sequel, new Ghostbusters, being trained by the old guard, in a New York which has been ghost free for 30ish years. Robocop was "okay" and chips, who greenlit it? WB. ehhhhhh don't start. It was supposed to be a sequel, but Paul Feig completely scrapped it all to make a movie with 4 female Ghostbusters, which is okay had he understood the concept of the movie. No, he did it w the sole purpose of expand the feminist agenda... now whatever agenda you may try to push, if it's more important than your movie, than your audience, than your fan base, your movie is shit and you're a POS. Well outside of the overly feminist push the film never felt like a real film, but more like a spoof cartoon, I mean look at those gadgets, looks like something I would have bought from The Disney Store. Personally Feig isn't a strong director, because outside of Bridesmaids his films fall flat and rely too much on slapstick, fart jokes and whatnot.

I grew up watching CHiPs. I remember it being a more of a "serious" action/drama with funny moments (albeit cheesy as hell). This rendition looks horrendous. Why even put the CHiPs name on it. Hardly any of the target audience knows the TV series at all. The people who do remember probably will not see this after watching this crap trailer.

I hate that trailer. They played it before Fist Fight but there was an issue with the projector, so I had to sit through it twice

And the fact that neither SONY nor Feig had the balls to admit they made a terrible movie is still to this day appalling. Why did they have to go and shit all over such a beloved franchise.

And a very BAD comedy, one that isn't even funny. And it really burns me because the show had plenty of funny moments, and yeah people might think it's corny despite all the serious issues they tackled like child porn, steroid abuse, homophobic murders, AIDS, rape, incest, etc., BUT, here's the thing...it was based on a REAL police operation that DID put cops in high schools, so they're taking true story material and turning it into what happens when you let a drunk, stoned loser write the script and thinks he's a genius. That does not work for me. And I don't know about anybody else, but I am truly mind boggled of all the people who went to see the sequel who were DISAPPOINTED 'they cut out the scene of them grabbing their crotches while they're shooting their guns that was in the trailer'. No wonder these stupid movies make millions, because they cater to utmost idiots who wouldn't know good entertainment if it bit them.

From the get-go they pandered to be feminists and anyone that didn't watch the movie was either a misogynist or an MRA. I am glad it bomed as hard as it did. I am glad so many SJWs are still salty about it. Paul Feig should do the honorable thing and kill himself.

Paul Feig should do the honorable thing and kill himself. 1. sure, it seemed that after people were rejecting the marketing (pictures and trailers) they put on blinders and started name calling 2. eh. social justice warriors, yeah....they want to make things more "equal" but they go about it in the improper manner, becoming belligerent rather than helpful, which backfires and has backfired. 3. what the fuck dude, it's a movie. repeat after me, it's.......a.......movie. it's a movie, it's stupid little movie. feig just made a bad movie with a popular IP, so?

Feig has gone on attacking people left and right, insulting people and calling detractors misogynists and stuff like that. He's as bad as the alt-right Milo guy.
SJWs go too fucking far like "trying to ban Halloween" and sometimes using violence against innocents while pretending to be victims the, selves. i have zero sympathy for their causes because of their actions.

I just watched the trailer for Chips, and all I can say is that it doesn't look good at all. Instead of two charismatic actors they have got two character actors. Instead of a cool screenplay they made it a grotesque comedy. This is another movie that is an obvious turkey, but somebody in Hollywood greenlighted it again.

I would have liked to have seen a CHIPs movie when Wilmer Valderrama was attached to it a decade ago. The only thing that guy has been attached to lately is underage girls.

SJWs? WTF???
I thought "SJWs" were supposed to be liberals. The "snowflakes" who ban Halloween -- at least in the neo-Confederate south, where I live -- are right-wing Christian conservatives... You know, Trump voters. They ban Halloween in public schools because it's (supposedly) "satanic".

They don't come out to say "Ban Halloween" but start wailing about costumes being offensive due to being offended about culture appropriation where some colleges have not allowed students to dress up or at least suggest different costumes.

The conservative snowflakes in my area straight-up ban the entire holiday of Halloween. (It's demonic, you know.)

Halloween was banned there in2015 because citizens didn't want to offend muslims. I would have sworn that Conn was the Mecca (pun intended) for liberals. Now thanks to superdd I know it's actually full of Trump voters. Thank Allah the 1% of muslims that live in the state won't have to be offended by all those evil kids trick or treating.
