They hit the ground running with the dick jokes, didn't they? Eric Estrada, where are you when we need you?
Dax Shepard will always be Frito to me. He seems to be channeling him in this anyway.

Feig has gone on attacking people left and right, insulting people and calling detractors misogynists and stuff like that. He's as bad as the alt-right Milo guy. SJWs go too fucking far like "trying to ban Halloween" and sometimes using violence against innocents while pretending to be victims the, selves. i have zero sympathy for their causes because of their actions. I do think claiming anyone who disliked the movie was a misogynist, I can understand some of Feig's frustration when you consider how nasty some of the stuff the actresses' put up with. It was pretty nasty.

They started getting hate the moment the trailer dropped (maybe even earlier). It's one thing to say you don't like the trailer and may not like the movie, it's another when they start getting despicable tweets on their personal accounts. Feig and McCarthy responded after the REAL personal hate they received in social media by childish imbeciles that have the luxury of hiding behind an anonymous account. Feig and McCarthy wrote open-eds bashing Ghostbusters fans and they thought there would be no backlash?
So what you are saying, had they not responded to the harebrained social media hate by underdeveloped pubescent, there would have been to backlash? Smart.

well not many studios will admit their movie is terrible, that wouldn't be great for them. now them using the whole misogyny angle to explain the backlash is grotesque. i don't think they wanted to shit on ghostbusters, but they went into to making the film with the wrong director, producers, and screenwriters, the actresses were fine....granted i'm a bit tired of McCarthy, but give them a better team behind them we could have had something nice. besides it's not like the original film demolished in the process, people still own it, like it, and have clung on to it even more than before. From the get-go they pandered to be feminists and anyone that didn't watch the movie was either a misogynist or an MRA. I am glad it bomed as hard as it did. I am glad so many SJWs are still salty about it. Paul Feig should do the honorable thing and kill himself.I should have read more of your stuff before I responded to you. It looks like this movie has been a tremendous issue for you. It seems you are a bit salty. By the way, I didn't think Ghostbusters was a good movie. I didn't really even care about it one way or another. It just seems that there is a faction that this movie has struck a chord with for some reason and they just can't get over it.

The movie bombed like a rocket, and thru it all Feig could not admit he made a shitty movie, as late as December he was blaming it all on misogyny. This movie was not meant for Ghostbusters fans, every criticism was classified as misogynist. Like that YouTuber who said he wouldnt watch it... he started recieving death threats and hate mail dorected at him and denigrating his wife... I am not sorry the talentless hacks behind the movie got shat upon... not... one... bit.

And I have the right not to respect the POS, his movies, or his opinions. Creatures like it and the battle for censrship are the reason Trumpo won, people were sck and tired of SJWs calling them names and threatening over movies, tv shows and stuff... they voted for Trump.

ALL the hate the stars received was called for. I will never feel sorry for them.

Some emotional support to help you feel better so you can get on with your life. as late as December he was blaming it all on misogyny.
Check Feig's twitter feed. Are you telling me that there was absolutely NO ONE angry that females took the roles of the males, right...that never happened...right? He responded to those tweets, and really to one guy at that time in September.
This movie was not meant for Ghostbusters fans
That is an opinion. It's not meant for emotionally unstable Ghostbuster fans. That is another opinion. CHiPs was not meant for me, a CHiPs fan from the past. Am I needing to personally attack Dak Shepard or Kristen Bell or whoever else was involved in the film (don't pretend that personal attacks didn't happen before Feig spoke out). No, I will just make one comment on this board (no attacking) and not see the movie and move on. If the movie is bad, well, it's bad. So what. Move on. Like that YouTuber who said he wouldnt watch it... he started recieving death threats and hate mail dorected at him and denigrating his wife...
Wow, received death threats. No that is very immature. This big anonymous internet bullies that throw around death threats like it's candy. I think you can agree with me that these people are trash. Right? I am not sorry the talentless hacks behind the movie got shat upon... not... one... bit
True, you weren't involved in a huge studio production of a blockbuster film. But you are everything else.

I SAW the film, and at worst it was mediocre.

You are a walking oxymoron... Are you a new type of liberal that just burns hate. Don't say you don't, it's in your posts. Telling people you hope they kill themselves like a cyber bully. Yeah! I'm a liberal so I can say this! Yeah! What censorship crap are you babbling about? Who is censoring who? Are you saying people in ghostbusters want censorship because they're Trump supporters? What does censorship have to do with this discussion? You make no sense. So SJW's voted for Trump because they want censorship against free speech, especially when it comes to Ghostbusters? What? You out did yourself. Why don't you be a good liberal (sarcasm) and tell me that you hope I kill myself . Then we can be done.

I thought this was a CHIPS thread.... Right?!? Anyhow, yes, the trailer looks terrible. This is going to be the 21 Jump Street (2012) of 2017. Plus, why is it called CHIPS? The acronym is CHiPs (California Highway Patrol). Did the producers and such even bother watching the original T.V. show? I'm so glad that Erik Estrada and Larry Wilcox aren't going to bother making cameo appearances. I'm sure after the embarrassment that was CHiPs '99 (1998), they learned their lesson. This is just another attempt at Hollywood rebooting a franchise that should have been left alone.

At one point Wilmer Valderrama (believe it or not) was involved in the project.
