Lemmy was the taxi/ boat driver. Iggy Pop was the radio dj "Angry Bob." After "this is what you want" scene they go to sleep, Jill wakes up & turns on the tv, then she finds some music & goes to work on her sculpture. GWAR on the tv while Ministry's Stigmata is playing.

I probably can't come up with 10 obscure movies I've liked, and some in my list might be familiar but ones which I think most people don't realize are good movies.
1. It Happens Every Spring (1949) - Ray Milland and Jean Peters in a comedy about a chemistry professor who accidentally creates a mixture which repels wood and schemes to take advantage of it as a baseball pitcher.
2. Julia and Julia (1987) [Giulia e Giulia (original title)] - Kathleen Turner, Gabriel Byrne, and Sting in a story about a woman who inexplicably is living two separate realities.
3. The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension - Peter Weller, Jeff Goldblum, and John Lithgow in a bizarre sci-fi adventure about a rock star who is also a scientist.
4. Cinderfella - Jerry Lewis vehicle based on the Cinderella story wherein Lewis shines.
5. Dead of Night (1945) - An architect senses impending doom as his half-remembered recurring dream turns into reality. The guests at the country house encourage him to stay as they take turns telling supernatural tales.
6. The Innocents (1961) - A young governess for two children becomes convinced that the house and grounds are haunted. Based on the Henry James novel "The Turn of the Screw".
7. Carnival of Souls (1962) - After a traumatic accident, a woman becomes drawn to a mysterious abandoned carnival. Very spooky. My favorite B-movie.
8. Wings of Desire (1987) - An angel tires of overseeing human activity and wishes to become human when he falls in love with a mortal.

this movie was great, everything but the music anyway. I liked the ending credits music. The movie went out of its way to be strange. The aliens and their spaceships were hilarious-looking, the troupe was eclectically inventive, the writing was clever, and Lithgow was wonderful.

I don't really recall the soundtrack otherwise. Wasn't it just kind of spacey?
