You seem like the kinda guy who'd write a long diatribe about how blacks and paki's should "go back where they came from" and claim everyone's response to it was "political correctness gone mad." That's why Last Jedi is the only good Star Wars film, George Lucas is a hack and Luke Skywalker was always poorly written Mary Sue, but who cares because he has a penis, amirite? ^Joss Whedon superfan confirmed. Now tell us how Nathan Fillion is much kewler than Han Solo. I don't have to tell you. You already know.

Article about that in some more detail: He notes that The Avengers helmer would, "cut, down, dismiss and be negative about Zack’s version of the movie that he had seen and all of the special effects team [these people] had made together." This is said to have led to a lot of discomfort on the set with the cast and crew, and could explain what Fisher was referring to. After all, tearing into Snyder's work when he had to depart Justice League because his daughter had died doesn't exactly paint the director in the best of lights. Regardless, it doesn't appear as if Whedon respected Snyder's vision for the DC Comics property, as he completely altered the movie to suit the version he clearly wanted. In related news, Ray Fisher has today sent out a Tweet saying, "I believe Kai Cole and Charisma Carpenter." Cole is Whedon's ex-wife who alleged that he was abusive in their marriage, and Carpenter has said that she was fired from Buffy the Vampire Slayer spinoff Angel for getting pregnant. www.comicbookmovie.com/justice_league/justice-league-joss-whedon-rumored-to-have-openly-trashed-zack-snyders-work-on-set-a176541#gs.9vvxqu

So Whedon has a verly long history of workibg with actors. Surely this would have come up before. During Buffy? Angel? The 2 Avengers movies? He fired Charisma Carpenter from Angel when she became pregnant and decided to write her out of the show completely because they were, supposedly mad about her decision to become a mother. Carpenter was not told she'd be written off the show by Whedon personally and was instead told by the press - she says it felt like a punch to the gut and she was very saddened by the decision to just drop her from the program. However, she says she would still like to work with him again if the opportunity were to present itself, there is a lot more to the story there but she doesn't want to get into it in detail and Whedon has not spoken of it in length. Ray Fisher is the only person who has worked with Joss Whedon who has described the experience in such a way. Keep in mind also that just because a person, in this case a filmmaker, has a history of creating a very professional and positive environment on the sets of their works(TV and movies) does not mean it is an impossibility that there will come a project where they are not mentally in the best shape to handle it and are facing other stressful factors which could contribute to a hellish pit of fire as Fisher claims. There are instances where even the best and most behaved artist goes to an unsettling place and brings everyone around them with them. Oh, I disagree with some of his creative choices. I have a magazine interview where he states he was so pissed at Seth Green wanting off the show that he made Willow gay as a punishment to Green. The phrasing in the interview was something like "ha! I made your girlfriend gay!" I also dont care for his tendency to do the guy's idea of a comic book strong female. But Fisher threw out such a vague accusation that easily ciuld have been based in Mickey Rourke's bitch with Marvel that his character wasnt given more to do. The title of the movie was Iron Man 2 He was the villain. He was there to make Tony Stark look good, period.

I’ve seen some people draw parallels between Ray Fisher and John Boyega in terms of getting screwed over by the big franchises they’re associated with. Ironically, Ray Fisher was a top contender to play Finn.

In fact, I saw an interview where Whedon did the my kid asked me why Coulson was alive & I didn't know what to say/I wouldnt do it if I had to do it again. NO. IT IS PERFECT COULSON WAS BROUGHT BACK. Fury wouldn't let him go. It reminds me of Phantom of the Paradise where Winslow sees Phoenix in bed with Swan & kills himself, stabbing himself. Swan goes up, pulls the knife out & tells him he gave up his right to rest in peace when he signed the contract. Fury like Swan even controls the deaths of his favored agents. So Greenwalt left after 3 seasons. It was Season 4 she was written out of the show during, so that sounds like the Season 4 showrunner which was David Simkins & Jeffrey Bell.

According to Fisher he can only say one thing at a time based on his contract with Warner Bros., in time he will reveal more details, so he's said recently.

Well, Charisma Carpenter did say that she was fired for getting pregnant, but I can’t imagine that Joss Whedon particularly cared about her being a mother. He apparently just didn’t want to have to write a pregnancy into the show.

You said she was fired for getting pregnant when she was written out because she made it impossible to film her role. She later returned to finish her role, which she probably would not have done if she was literally fired for getting pregnant.
