I did like her, but I didn't find her to be a particularly compelling character. Even though she did have some strong points I thought she was quite bland. I personally had a greater likeness of Finn. I cared about his "journey" more as he generally seemed more overmatched by the plot then Rey did, which made him more entertaining to watch in my opinion. Again, Rey wasn't bad by any stretch, and was likable, but she didn't leave too much of an impact on me.

Did you Like the character "Rey" in " STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS".....YES or NO ? I thought she could use more development. A lot about her remains a mystery and I felt they were leaving all that for Episode 8 or 9, which angers me because these are movies that are released every 2 to 3 years, not episodes of a TV show where audiences have to wait a week (or ten seconds if they're watching on Netflix) for the next episode. Her being able to go toe to toe with Kylo Ren almost took me out of the movie. There are theories she was a prodigy at the new Jedi order which I'm not sold on because the movie showed her being abandoned on Jakku really young, or Luke's daughter which I'm not sold on either, just because you are the child of a Jedi master doesn't mean you are born one, Luke had to train with Obi Wan and Yoda for years.

I seriously, for real despise Daisey Ridley and her portrayal of Rey more than any other performer in any other movie I've ever seen. She personally contributed to ruining Star Wars more than everyone else who's ever been involved with it combined -- her smugness, her stupid ugly chud face and her inability to even contort it into something resembling a distinct emotion, and how her entire "portrayal" of her "character" was too cute by half and gave off the sense that she, Ridley, thinks she's so adorable she can't even stand it. Worthless, wretched waste of human life.

Did you Like the character "Rey" in " STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS".....YES or NO ? Eh. It's a mixed bag. I like how, unlike Jyn, I became emotionally invested in Rey. However, I didn't like her being a Mary Sue or assaulting Finn before accusing him of theft, all without ever apologizing. I hated Rey regularly being made superior to Star Wars' first black lead. Her character doesn't make a lot of sense, and the acting was all right. Eh. Maybe things will get better in TLJ, lol...

Would she smug it out or .

I liked her exactly the same as any other new character in the force awakens including finn and po. I think her character fit the tone of the film. I liked her character exactly the same as I liked the story, also. I liked her character exactly as much as I liked the dialogue in the film also. I liked her character about as much as the kind of overall/general creativity they put into this film.

I liked her in Episode 7. I don't care about her anymore after Episode 8 (along with any of the other surviving characters). I agree with the other person on a different thread that said she really needs a new outfit.
Leia got at least two different outfits per movie. Padme got a bunch of different ones...As Carrie Fisher noted while watching the prequel movies, "The girl who plays my mom...whatever her name is...?...she got a different outfit practically every time she walked through a door!"
Rey has to run around in the same clothing for two movies though. What gives?

I’m mixed on the character. I like Daisy Ridley herself and her performance (albeit a bit more in TLJ than in TFA), but the writing is indeed pretty awful, as everyone has mentioned. It’s absurd that her character is made to be absolutely perfect—infallible and impeccable.
Yet for all that I still feel that she’s appealing and likeable. I just hope the third movie has better writing.
