Well, IMO, none of the F&F flicks have been worth a damn... There just too monumentally stupid.

They really got a lot better when The Rock joined them I think and they've really embraced the campiness and craziness of them all which I enjoy. I really enjoyed 7 and I legit had man tears at the end. I honestly don't know if I want to watch any more of them though without Paul Walker.

I've been a fan of the franchise since I was like... 10. They're not the best movies, but they are entertaining. I just like something about the chemistry of the cast, ya know? That's enough to sell me.
Though, I'm both anticipating and dreading the new chapter. I heard from a couple different sources that there are actually two different versions of the movie currently making runs in the test audiences. Both are more or less the same except for one particular plot point. One of them I really like, the other makes utterly no sense and I'm really hoping whoever said it was either trolling, intrepreted it wrong, or that they don't in the end choose it because... it's just... silly. And that's all I'll say right now without spoiling too much.

Oh it's beyond funny. But you know what? It's a movie. It doesn't take itself seriously. I do wish one day it will go back to the roots, I miss the focus on the family. They do spend so much time with the action scenes, it would just be nice to see them doing more... idek, racing and family stuff. But alas, it's a movie, and sadly not like... a tv show or something where they can really dive into that stuff.

F&F 8 is officially Rated PG-13 for prolonged sequences of violence and destruction, suggestive content, and language.

Hmm its strange. A movie whos released in middle of April gets the MPAA-Rating yet. But Ghost in the Shell who starts in 5 weeks, is still not rated.

It's like the MPAA haven't even watched ghost in the shell to even give it a rating.

Just read on IMDb that this film's runtime is 2hrs 40mins. Is this true? Would appear so. screenrant.com/fate-furious-8-runtime/I didn't mind Fast Five's and Furious 7's running times, but thought 6 dragged in spots. Still gonna watch 8, but my expectations are tempered.

I'm honestly only interested in it because of The Rock and Statham. I've lost interest in Dom's crew throughout the various movies, especially now that they got rid of Paul Walker, Gal Gadot and Han - all of which were arguably the most interesting characters. Even Mia doesn't get much to do anymore. Dom used to be interesting, but his superman-syndrome has gotten so ridiculous in the last few movies that it just made him bland. The rest of the remaining crew are forgettable.

I still don't understand how the bigger and dumber these movies got, the more popular the series became.

I still don't understand how the bigger and dumber these movies got, the more popular the series became. Some people just really enjoy schlock entertainment as much as quality entertainment. I am one of those people.

Apparently some of the takes highlight Johnson's and Statham's chemistry, while calling Diesel a low point. About a day and a half to go.

Did anyone else get an eerie vibe at the beginning when Dom was driving a flaming car? Couldn't stop thinking about Paul Walker.

Just finished watching it and I only have one thing to say: Statham and the Rock need a spinoff movie of their own.

It's because people can relate to these films.......I guess family is a big thing for fans, I know that makes me like them more.

What happened to the undercover infiltration sub plot? That was a big thing in the earlier movies. That element also made it special.
