Gaming wasn’t hurt overall. I would imagine if anything the virus has helped sales (not much else to do when you're stuck at home)

Why do I get the feeling you're in that Hate Group GLAAD? I’m not an activist for any group. I just find it odd how obsessed you are with the existence of gay people, and I find it especially baffling how you think Disney is somehow heterophobic. What even makes you say that? Because the latest Star Wars movie had a brief lesbian kiss between two completely irrelevant characters? You need to ask why Disney has recently become so obsessed with forcing gay antics into movies for kids.

Some of their movies in the latter part of the 2010s have had extremely minor/background characters who are suggested to be gay, but that’s as far as they’ve gone with it. Also, what do you have to say about this?

Why would Disney care about catering to those people if they hate heterosexuality? For that matter, why would they allow Finn and Poe to have female love interests, instead of pairing the two of them up with each other, like a number of fans had been wanting since TFA?

Probably because men and women find women kissing less repulsive than males kissing. Disney chose the safer perversion first.

Because it’s not Disney’s place to shove it into everyone’s face. We know gay people exist. If they’re doing it because they actually give a shit, good for them, but I feel like they’re doing it because they’re listening to weirdos on twitter. No one was asking for gay representation in the 90’s and neither were people in the early 2000’s. Last thing Disney should be doing is listening to Twitter. Really any studio for that matter. I have high functioning autism and I don’t that I don’t get representation because in the end I DO NOT FUCKING CARE!!! Just give me a good movie and show. Social media isn’t reality.

Probably because men and women find women kissing less repulsive than males kissing. Disney chose the safer perversion first. Disney wouldn’t even be required to have Finn and Poe kiss. In any case, assuming they were “heterophobic”, they probably wouldn’t suggest that those two are straight.

Not worry about who’s getting representation.

I remembered I saw Frozen 2 (which was a shitty ass movie) with one of my fiancée’s friends and she said she heard somewhere that Elsa was originally gonna get a girlfriend and said “that’d have been ok”. Ummm no it wouldn’t. Not everyone agrees with it still and wouldn’t care to see it. Disney claims to be family friendly, but their movies have been less than family friendly.

There’s nothing to suggest that Disney ever intended to give Elsa a love interest of any kind, male or female. They would risk alienating the Chinese market if they gave her a girlfriend. Also, I don’t really care about representation in general, but how would having a gay character be “less than family friendly”?

But weirdos on twitter kept calling them cowards after they never went through with it. Studios need to understand that those freaks on twitter aren’t the real audience. Those freaks are a minority a very small one. I wasn’t saying having gay people isn’t family friendly I meant their decisions haven’t been.

Its idiotic to think the examples given were Disney shoving anything down people’s throats. We are talking a few seconds of screen time that somehow manages to ruin movies for people. Thus means they literally think it’s an agenda to show any gay people in a movie at all. Insanity.
