The Futurians I thought this was a great comic when I was a kid but it only lasted 3 issues although I heard there was a graphic novel? Never knew what the ending was. It sort of paralled the movie Aliens in a way in some future society.

This was the first X-Men comic I ever read. I distinctly remember the very cool cover and I got it at a flea market. Back in the 1980s the flea market I went to had a regular vendor, his little shop always set up in the same corner. Always boxes and boxes and boxes of old back issues dirt cheap. Being a DC guy though I don't remember much of the story. I remember Magneto was a good guy and member; I was surprised because I had known he was a bad guy from watching those late 60s? Marvel cartoons and early 80s Spider-man. I renember Wolverine and Rogue talking while one of them was wiping down with a towel. I also remember Wolverine tracking a girl that could turn into a flat, intangible hologram, not sure if it was this issue though. Anyway, that is one of the coolest X-Men covers of all time.

In the mid 80s during a usual vacation at Lake Erie my mom's friend bought me one of those 10 comics for $2 grab bags from a tourist shop. These two issues (only ones I remember from the grab bag) were the standouts and my introduction to Captain Carrot.
