Based on FILMOGRAPHY my #1 of the following are... Actor: Tom Cruise...1.Jerry Maguire (1996) - 9/10 2.The Color of Money (1986) - 8/10 3.Interview With The Vampire (1994) (the #1 vampire/horror themed movie hands down) 4.Mission Impossible (1996) - 7.5-8/10 -.Mission Impossible III (2006) -.Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation (2015) -.Risky Business (1983) -.War of the Worlds (2005) 9.Rain Man (1988) 10.Top Gun (1986) - 7-7.5/10 11.Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol (2011) - 7/10 --.Edge of Tomorrow (2014) 13.Valkyrie (2008) - 6.5-7/10 Actress: Vera Farmiga...1.Source Code (2011) - 8.5-9/10 (my #1 film of 2011) 2.Up in the Air (2009) - 8-8.5/10 (my #1 film of 2009) 3.Running Scared (2006) - 7.5-8/10 (between my 4th-6th favorite movie of 2006. also, this contains my favorite scene of Vera's which is the 'pedophile scene' (that's not as bad as it sounds)) 4.At Middleton (2013) - 7-7.5/10 (my #2 movie of 2013) 5.The Departed (2006) - 7/10 (my #8 film of 2006) i could list quite a few more actors if i wanted to and some actresses but i won't for now. p.s. for the record... no other actress has been as attractive as Vera Farmiga is for me and i always say she's an anomaly of nature as your just not supposed to be THAT attractive, but she is. in fact, no other semi-famous/famous person out there ever can even challenge Vera besides Kari Byron (most known from the TV show 'Mythbusters'). also, i never understood Cate Blanchett's appeal as her presence is too dry for my tastes as she lacks charisma/warmth/charm etc. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Sandman anyone who mentions Vera Farmiga is alright in my book but for the record... she's FAR more attractive(and a better actress to) than the other two are. i think Scar Jo is overrated in attractiveness dept. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- tastytomatoes i know that comment was not directed at me but i just thought i would chime in... based on the commercials ill be seeing Life but looking at the directors past movies that lowers my hopes a bit. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Chalice_Of_Evili just thought i would comment... i like Alicia Vikander and even Eva Green ain't bad but the main problem with Green is that she's sorta of a expert at being in low quality movies. but one movie she really worked well in and it's easily her best movie is Casino Royale (2006) as besides the movie being amongst my Top 29 movies she's got solid chemistry with Daniel Craig which further helps sell the movie. in fact, i think around the time she shows up is when the movie start to hit it's stride. for the record... Casino Royale (2006)/The Salvation (2014-2015)(6.5-7/10) are the only movies of her's worth mentioning as nearly everything else i have seen, which is a large enough portion of her filmography, is below average or failure level. i am surprised she's managed to do that as that's not something that i see amongst people who i am familiar with. i have seen her in about 10 movies.

mslo79 Sorry I didn't notice this until now. even Eva Green ain't bad but the main problem with Green is that she's sorta of a expert at being in low quality movies. but one movie she really worked well in and it's easily her best movie is Casino Royale (2006) as besides the movie being amongst my Top 29 movies she's got solid chemistry with Daniel Craig which further helps sell the movie. in fact, i think around the time she shows up is when the movie start to hit it's stride.Casino Royale is probably my favourite Bond film and one of Top 10 movies. I was already a fan of Eva Green’s long before Penny Dreadful came along, so I knew she was capable of giving excellent performances, but it was in Season 1 episode 's 'Séance' where I thought, “Ah yes, THIS is why they cast Eva Green in the role.” – she can bring the crazy like nobody else (since probably Helena Bonham Carter). The way she was contorting her head/neck/body was so unnatural, it almost seemed like CGI enhancement had been involved. Then there was the voice – it was like she really was possessed (I felt sorry for Eva’s vocal cords and what it must’ve taken to achieve that). I know she’s gotten a bit of a rep for mainly playing the ‘crazy’ types or whatever, but I think she brought much more to the role than just that. There were some serious dramatic scenes for her to play out (like the episodes focused on her in Season 1, then in Season 2, for example). Plus there were also some light-hearted moments for her to play (the ‘undergarments’ shopping scene with Victor in Season 2 is a prime example/stand-out). I think Eva is so impressive with all the ‘crazy’ moments that some people forget to pay attention to all the other stuff going on underneath. There’s actually quite a lot of nuance there, and I don’t think she gets enough credit for it. Such a shame she never got any Emmy recognition. After seeing what happened with her character at the end of Season 3, and all I can say is I’m glad it ended where it did, as I wouldn’t have stuck with it without Eva Green. She was, for me at least, the main reason I watched.

Chalice_Of_EvilWhile it ranks quite high for me, you apparently like it more given that Top 10 movie comment as for me it's within my Top 29 movies and is my #2 Bond movie behind Skyfall but both Skyfall and Casino Royale are a 8.5-9/10 for me but i give the edge to Skyfall because i feel it's paced better as Casino Royale never really hit's it's stride til around the time Eva Green shows up which is nearly 1 hour into the movie, so just call it roughly 50-55min or so before Casino Royale really starts to shine. My favorite Bond movies... 1.Skyfall (2012) - 8.5-9/10 2.Casino Royale (2006) 3.Licence to Kill (1989) - 8/10 4.Goldfinger (1964) - 7.5-8/10 5.Spectre (2015) 6.From Russia with Love (1963) - 7-7.5/10 7.Dr. No (1962) - 7/10 while i like 14 out of the 25 Bond movies those seven above stand out the most for me as they are amongst my favorite movies in general. It's cool. but these IMDb2 forums alert you when someone directly replies using the 'quote' thing or if you specifically mention someone using the @ symbol with their screen name immediately following it. basically when you highlight your mouse pointer on someones name it shows the exact stuff you need to type in order for that person to be alerted and then after that i just manually quote stuff from their post as it helps take up less space on these pages that way especially if you got multiple replies it could end up getting really long if you use the typical 'quote' reply that many already know about in here. like when i manually quote someone... i just copy and paste their text, like for example... [quote.]quoted text here[/quote.] just remove both . in the quote things above and it will have a actual quote like you see of my quotes of you in this general post.
