Admin hahaha....But I think 25 should be good. On the sports board lots of topics can emerge in just an hour. Ex- When European soccer time comes up, soccer threads can take over and so can American sports threads at other times. People will appreciate if their thread is available on the first page. Board Information & Statistics & Legends Tab can be done away with too. That will free up some space vertically. |

Oh, threads? I was thinking posts. Threads can be increased in increments of 5 up to 40. Pick a number.  |

Adminif there isn't any problem with increasing the count of threads per page then go for a high number (at least 30) as people don't like to turn over pages in general. I used to have 50 threads per page setting on IMDB.

I think you guys need to modify the "main boards" page a lot. The category order should ideally be "Movies", "TV series", "General Boards", "Contribute and Help". I think you guys need to merge a few boards and limit the number of sub boards under movies/TV series to 5 each. And other 5 should be reserved for franchises or a specific TV series. Having name of a specific TV series/franchise would bring in more people than having classic, cult, horror categories etc. Anyways you can put it to poll and ask the users if they prefer a modification from the good ol' IMDb categorization. I agree that the "main boards" page needs some work, but there is no unanimous opinion on how it should be organized. For the time being, I think it's best not to stray too far from IMDb's layout. I definitely think this is something that needs to be monitored over the next month in regards to usage. I too feel there are too many boards on the Main forum and many can be condensed, combined or removed entirely as they are redundant (like the entire legacy section) |

I meant will it hold the interest of everyone who is already here for long? Things might get too stagnant and people might lose interest and wander off. btw, congrats to Aj June. Thats quite an honor. Atleast kezia and her gym instructor cant come here and 'kick us hard'. And how do I reply to a particular post here? Absence of nested thread will take all the fun out on epic argument threads. If you respond to someone in particular that isn't the OP you should always chose to quote them ^ as such or tag them @"username" (PS the username has to be the one listed in the profile, ocassionally people change displaynames) That's the only way people get notified that someone is talking to them Been on these kind of boards for a hot minute and had (technically still have) a board of my own so I know my way around it |
