I don't see the connection. There are people who have no interest in getting drunk and people who have a very hard time getting laid. Could be a no sex before marriage situation or something far more sad. I am socially awkward and I especially was in high school. I didn't even kiss a girl until I was 17 and also had sex for the first time the same year. I didn't get drunk for the first time until that same year. I was in institutions for much of my childhood and teen years. We have no idea about the life of the OP and shouldn't rush to any conclusion. Nobody waits until marriage anymore to have sex unless they're a Mormon or some extreme Protestant cult. But perhaps it's a generational thing. In my age group, Gen X, it was unheard of not to have sex. But you yourself didn't wait until you were 40 either. I'm just saying the OP's whole world view will change when he finally has a close-up interaction with another human being. If I was that boy's uncle I'd buy him a hooker ASAP!!! It's normal human behavior, especially for a male, to have sex. So yeah, I can reach a conclusion. This guy needs help. Sorry, but this 30-year-old virgin stuff just doesn't fly. Human beings are designed to have sex, maybe even fall in love!!! And order some goddamn Chinese food for crying out loud!!!
They haven't had a job yet either, so they could be quite young and they haven't even stated that they're male.

I'm gonna go out on a long limb and assume it's an adult male. Ah, I did miss that they graduated high school, the never worked thing threw me off

You do realize there are people who are born without a sex drive, correct? This clearly isn't the case for the OP because they masturbate, but these people do exist. They land in the asexual category, which is a broad category. It would be interesting to know why the OP hasn't had sex, but I wouldn't expect him to answer the question. I am more surprised that the OP has never had Chinese food. I am 37 btw, so not quite Gen X. I do not believe asexuality is a healthy sexuality. If it's the result of a physical illness, then so be it.
But to claim it's a normal sexual orientation to be sexually attracted to no one, not males, not females, not trannies, and to have absolutely no physical attraction to another human being? Sorry, that is by definition a form of sociopathy. And I excoriate the LGBTQIA poseurs for even daring to tack that 'A' on as if it has anything to do with the rest of us who had to struggle against sexual oppression our entire lives.
And the OP posted the list. I expect him to explain his anomaly since he posed the question and expects us to respond. And I will ask him. Lets see if he responds.
You are just factually wrong. Asexuality isn't a sexuality, it is lack of one. Therefor it can't be an unhealthy or healthy sexuality. These people didn't choose to be asexual, it IS what they are. Many will still have sex for their partner's sake and they don't necessarily not enjoy it, they just have no desire for it. They can go their whole lives without sex and not be at all bothered by it. Do you even know what sociopathy is? I doubt you do based on your accusation. Sociopathy is complete lack of empathy for other human beings and only self-interest. For someone to compare the two is to completely misunderstand both. Asexuals still have relationships and care about and love other people. They will also have sex in order to have children. The only 2 other mental states that can be compared with sociopathy are psychopothy and narcissism. Why other people's lack of sexuality would bother you is a whole different question.

Yes, people are born blind or born deaf or have some other innate condition which impairs a normal physical function. Sexual desire is a normal healthy and even joyous function of being a human being. I'll extend it even further. It's a normal trait of all mammals. Have you ever seen a dog in heat?
So no, I'm not factually wrong. Physically normal human beings have a sex drive. And that drive is directed towards other human beings. Even sickos who fuck dogs at least have a sexual attraction, bestiality.
And yes, I know what's sociopathy. It's an inability to relate to other human beings. It's obvious that if a person has a normal hormone balance and no physical disability, and they have functioning genitalia and a sex drive, that drive would be directed towards another person. They claim it's a sexual orientation. Asexuals have a sex drive. They're just too self centered or too paranoid to reach out to another human being.
Why wouldn't I be "bothered" or feel sympathy for a person who has a handicap like blindness or deafness or asexuality?
Read this you may learn something What Does It Mean to Be Asexual?

It isn't physical, it is mental. It is not considered a disability or a negative thing though. I don't feel bad for asexual people, in part, because they wouldn't want me to. That is treating them like they have something wrong with them and they don't, they are just different in regards to the way they feel about sex. Blindness and deafness are actual physical disabilities that make life very difficult. That is the difference. An asexual person can still experience sex. A person who is born blind can't experience sight in most cases. Comparing a sociopath to a asexual person is like comparing a homosexual to a pedophile. Not even in the same fucking ballpark. Sociopaths and pedophiles are very dangerous. As someone with high-functioning autism, I take this personally. For outsiders to misunderstand autism is dangerous for autistic people. People being "bothered" by my autism in the way of pity as you mean, is condescending. Autism is considered an actually a mental disability btw, asexuality is not. For anybody who is interested - en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Asperger_syndrome#:~:text=Asperger%20syndrome%20(AS)%2C%20also,patterns%20of%20behavior%20and%20interests. The most offensive movie about Asperger's is The Fanatic. The most bad-ass movie about Asperger's is The Accountant. While not stated in the movie, Punch-Drunk Love is probably the closest to my form of Asperger's.

While not spelled out there (which I see as good) it does make some sense.Do you mind sharing which of his traits or behaviors made you believe so? I have some ideas but dont want to presume. As far as The Fanatic, yeah, and I was also quite bothered by Come Play. It just piles on the negative/incorrect media stereotype that autistic = scary (and will hurt people)

I am also a fan of Jacob Tremblay's portrayal of someone with Asperger's in The Predator and obviously I am a fan of the movie saying we are the next stage in evolution. Not a good movie by any means though.

I have mixed feelings about Mary and Max. Another Asperger's movie. You either like Chinese food a lot more than me or sex a lot less than me.

You're not so badass. I've been to jail several times for overnighters. I've been to prison too so I got you beat! I never said it was bad-ass or something to be proud of, just that it is an experience. The reasons I have been in jail are not even remotely bad-ass. I just like sharing information about myself and I love hearing information about other people. Are you bad-ass enough to tell me how long you were in prison and what for? Also, why haven't you answered the the OP? Actually I think punching one's dad is very much "badass". We are instilled to fear our fathers, so yeah, that's pretty ballsy. I did tell my father to go fuck himself when he betrayed me. Parent-child relationships are rarely easy.

When I was a child my parents were scared of me, not the other way around. I had serious issues. You want something that is sort of bad-ass. Cops being scared of me is bad-ass. I was legit being harassed by the cops at work one night and they looked nervous about what I might do and all of sudden their attitude changed. I think they were worried I might attempt to kill them. When I start to see red I tend to scare people. The last thing these cops wanted is an incident in a small kitchen while being in the wrong. They got a call that there were suspicious people in the area and I just happened to be showing up to work right after they got the call. This was 2 am and I clean a bar after it closes, so nobody was there to vouch for me. These fucking assholes gave me the third degree and while some of it was appropriate, I felt violated. Imagine showing up for work and being handcuffed. I even opened the place with my key (clearly proving I worked there) and they were still being intimidating assholes. Cops are morons on a power trip based on my experience with many of them.

They got a little more than they bargained for with you movie and yes, they were in the wrong, especially if you had rightful access to the premises and needed to show some level-headed discernment and not power tripping egos. That is the problem. When they found out they were wrong they got all defensive. I am like, seriously, I just used my key to get into the building and you still think I am a robber? They even stood there watching me disarm the alarm and they still had an attitude problem. They could tell I was extremely angry. They even said "what is your malfunction?" I don't know, could it be that I come to work and I am handcuffed and patted down and intimidated and feel unsafe?
