I'm actually really happy with the Milla casting.
They have the script a good director and solid cast. This new Hellboy was never going to be an A movie. They're going for dark gruesome movie it's a B movie. Even with the talent in the Del Torro movies it couldn't reach a big audience. From what we know so far they are aiming this one just for the fans.

I think Mila is a good choice and I am glad this is not going to be an A movie 'cause I don't think every movie needs to be an A movie to be good and some of my favourites have been B movies.

I don't know if Milla Jovovich is right person to play the antagonist. Her acting ability isn't really that great.

Agreed. Harbour's Hellboy looks like a bad-ass who's battle scarred and has been in many, many fights over the years he's been in service. No disrespect to Perlman and Del Toro but their Hellboy looked much too clean and a bit obvious it was an actor in make-up.
