The new ending of Pretty in Pink (1986) was filmed because of test audience reactions. They changed who Molly Ringwald ends up with at the end in the new ending to be Andrew McCarthy instead of Duckie.
I think if they made the film originally as planned with Anthony Michael Hall as Duckie instead of John Cryer, the audience may have approved of the original ending where she ends up with Duckie.

Clue (1985) had three different endings shown randomly in movie theaters, and then they were combined for home video.
Just Like Heaven (2005) has an alternate "Joke" ending...
When Elizabeth remembers her time with David... she remembers all the bad and annoy things about David, instead of the good things, and she decides that they should go their separate ways...
This ending was released on DVD.

He had shaved his head for a Broadway play just after shooting

Titanic (1997)
The film concludes with Rose telling about her final moments with Jack and her rescue from the disaster to the treasure hunters, who realized they have to give up their search for the Heart of the Ocean gem...
In the Theatrical ending...
Rose secretly goes to the stern of the ship and drops the gem into the sea to reunite it with Jack...
In the Alternate ending...
The treasure hunters see Rose at the stern of the ship, and believe she is about to commit suicide, by jumping overboard... They rush to save her, only to discover that she had the Heart of the Ocean all along and is about to toss it overboard... They plead with Rose to stop, but Rose comments about why she never sold it, and what things are really important in life...
Rose agrees to let Brock Lovett hold the jewel in the palm of his hand, since he has searched for it all his life... But as Brock begins to realize that what Rose just said was totally right, Rose slowly takes the jewel back, with Brock letting it go, and Rose tosses it into the sea...
The rest of the treasure hunters, become enraged, and yell at Rose for being so stupid, and then they leave... while Brock laughs, and shares a brief moment of understanding with Rose...
Also, Brock appears to be pursuing a romantic relationship with Rose's granddaughter Lizzie.

“Little Shop of Horrors” is an amazing movie with a great ending and it has an alternate ending.
Even T2: Judgment Day has an alternate ending. But it’s still one of the best R rated action films ever made.
