I want to try that brand. And that flavor. But I haven’t seen it near me. Then nearest store i saw it at was 15 miles away I don’t drive and my housemates that take me to the store are being overly paranoid about covid and refuse to take me that far

I miss the "Jingles" and "Almond Crescents" that are no longer made, also Salerno Butter Cookies and the stars with the red jelly in the centers.
Does Trader Joe's still carry the chocolate stars (cookies)? I used to buy them all the time during the holidays when I lived in Albuquerque.

I liked those almond crescent cookies, I didn't know they stopped making them, every year I look to see if Dollar General got them again.
My mom and I always make a ton of sugar Christmas cookies for people and bag them up for people, and the last few years we've gotten lazy, we buy an assortment of cookies from the store, the fudge shortbread, grasshoppers, the butter cookies they sell in blue tins for Christmas, etc., and bag them in with ours so we can spread ours out and not have to make so much. This year we have a Dollar Tree and they have those windmill almond cookies, which in my opinion taste similar to gingerbread, and then something called Almonettes, big almond cookies with a little bit of frosting and oh my God they are so good, they taste familiar, I can't place it, it's a little similar to the almond crescents, they are delicious.

Chinese food from First Chinese BBQ. The3y get ridiculously busy on Christmas. One year they literally disconnected the phone. At least the packed waiting area won't be happening this year.

I might be going to a store called wegman's that also has it, or shop rite, which I think I've seen it there.

novastar: I got the last package of Almonettes at Dollar Tree this morning, you are right, they are so good, taste just like the almond crescents and only $1.00 for 19 cookies! The brand is Baker's Batch and they are produced in California. Thanks for the tp.
