the horror series about a bunch of young people surviving a major disaster but find themselves all getting killed in gruesome ways because you "can't cheat death"
overall, I'd say yay. I mean this franchise isn't deep, the characters are thin, the acting mostly nothing special, and absolutely nothing about the mythology is explained but the movies are for the most part fun. The opening disaster scenes and numerous death scenes are fun to watch in a macabre way and some individual scenes even deliver decent tension (the gymnastics scene in the 5th film comes to mind). There are also lots of super attractive girls in these movies which certainly helps. The only flat out bad one I'd say is the 4th one which is awful. Felt like a DTV movie. The death scenes were too over the top even for this series standards, the acting was horrendous, and the CGI was godawful
ranking the series
1. Final Destination 5 2. Final Destination 3 (Mary Elizabeth Winstead is also easily the best lead of the series) 3. Final Destination 4. Final Destination 2
5. The Final Destination

I only saw the first one, and found it unintentionally hilarious, so nay for me.

They’re so so. If you ask me the first and 2nd are the best. The 2nd really messed me up as a child. Especially the part where the teenager gets crushed by a sheet of glass. I didn’t know much about the human body yet and was still too young to figure out that the glass would break on impact and not crush him. Now that scene is just hilarious cause it looks like something out of a cartoon.

Yay, I enjoy them. Most people seem to like the 1st one the best, but I actually think 2 and 3 are a little more fun. Also, I don’t hate 4 like most people do. My rankings:
1. Final Destination 3 2. Final Destination 2 3. Final Destination 4. The Final Destination 5. Final Destination 5

Falling from such a height the body would likely give in to the impact the way someone hitting water would be killed. I dont remember if it shattered when it hit the ground though. Anyway the idea is better than the execution (no pun intended). I only saw the first 2.

Pretty sure it would break on impact. If it did the most you’d end up with is a few cuts and need stitches, but I’m pretty sure it would not crush someone.

Overall, yay.
They’re fine for what they are. The Rube Goldberg like death sequences are fun to watch.
As for ranking...the after the first two they kind of blend together in my memory. So I like the first two the most, I guess.
