Let me give mine a look.... The front cover has: -- store numbered writing in ink above the 'M,' about the size of a pinky fingernail -- 2 'scrapes' (colour missing but not through the page) in the purple around Iceman, one small but obvious and one smaller and less obvious -- wear around the edges -- handling creases as well as an obvious fold in the upper right corner where the page wasn't stored/handled very well Inside: -- I assume the borders around the panels were white(er) when new but now they're all a light beige -- the fold in the upper right corner on the cover is replicated on every page in a diminishing fashion to a little beyond the midpoint of the comic The back cover: -- the staples aren't quite perfectly centred on the spine but just over the edge on the back which through handling has caused the page to tear a tiny bit at one staple -- handling creases as well as 2 folds where the comic wasn't stored properly although luckily these folds aren't replicated to the pages within If I were you I'd go to a comic store and see if they would give their opinion of grading for a small fee. I manage to grade my own using various guides online (never had any complaints about the grading when I sold some) so google comic book gradings and give it a go yourself. These are the guide values. 10.0 (GEM MINT) $220,000 9.9 (MINT) $176,000 9.8 (NEAR MINT/MINT) $132,000 9.6 (NEAR MINT+) $88,000 9.4 (NEAR MINT) $44,000 9.2 (NEAR MINT-) $36,960 9.0 (VERY FINE/NEAR MINT) $29,920 8.5 (VERY FINE+) $22,880 8.0 (VERY FINE) $18,480 7.5 (VERY FINE-) $14,080 7.0 (FINE/VERY FINE) $10,560 6.5 (FINE+) $7,920 6.0 (FINE) $7,040 5.5 (FINE-) $6,160 5.0 (VERY GOOD/FINE) $5,280 4.5 (VERY GOOD+) $4,400 4.0 (VERY GOOD) $3,960 3.5 (VERY GOOD-) $3,520 3.0 (GOOD/VERY GOOD) $3,080 2.5 (GOOD+) $2,640 2.0 (GOOD) $2,200 1.8 (GOOD-) $1,760 1.5 (FAIR/GOOD) $1,320 1.0 (FAIR) $880 0.5 (POOR) $440 If you get it graded and slabbed by CGC the value is sometimes double ! I looked at 3 different sites' grading points and I'd say my copy is no worse than a 3 and no better than a 6, depending on how serious the folds in the cover and internal pages are deemed to be.

It's a boggy area grading..one man's 3 is another man's 6...still,. I bet it's worth more than you paid for it, and it is genuinely a piece of comic book history

Nothing worth thousands. I do have the first Wolverine issue appearance but the cover is missing.
Amazing Spider-man #25. Think I bought it for $10 at a comics store in the 80s. It's complete but well worn cover.
Transformers # 1 Dark Horse Presents (first Alien Predator crossover)
I have a Gi Joe (first appearance of Storm Shadow) which seems to be worth a fair bit.
I have the first 11 issues of Star Wars marvel and the last issue from 1987.

If you count the Warren magazines, probably Vampirella #1. If not, then probably one of my Sgt. Furys.
Note to self: my 100th post. Yay!

Is Spawn #1 still a thing? I remember that used to be worth a lot. Aside from that, I have a Capt. America and Spiderman from the early 80s that comes to mind. I have no idea off the top of my head what issue they are. I don't really collect comics, I read them. The last several years I thought nothing but digital or trade paperbacks, neither which is really worth anything. Spawn #1 is listed at $12 (non variant version). I have found though that some sell online (I had a huge amount of duplicate issues at one point) at a lot more than the listed value. Some 80s Amazing Spider-Man can be worth a bit, especially those with venom. #300 is about $250. As with most of the popular heroes in the 80s they are mostly a little more valuable if its an issue with the introduction of a new character I have the first 5 Spawn, alot of 80's comics including Spidey in the "Venom" suit for the first time. My brother had alot from the 60's and 70's but my mom gave them away when he went into the Army. He was pissed!
