Just found the One Robin Williams movie I have not seen yet - Worlds Greatest Dad, watching it now and man, do I “miss” this man. Its crazy I know, since I didnt know him in person, but he was such a big part of my childhood and he is So incredibly personable on screen. The world could use more Robin Williams. It actually emotionally affects me knowing he is not around anymore when I think about it. Anybody can relate? Robin Williams was the first celebrity death that felt personal to me. I grew up with him on my screen starting with Mork & Mindy. He was and still is my all-time favorite actor.

I never actually saw/ knew about Mork & Mindy! Excited to watch it now... That was his break through role. The writers used to leave blank places in the script so he could ad lib. Much of his dialogue was off the top of his head.

I first remember him on Happy Days. He left quite an impression.
Johnny Carson: "We have a clip of it. I think it's going to be good."
Robin Williams: "I hope so if not I'll be on a game show."

I miss Robin Williams too. I also miss (in no particular order cos I'm too lazy to look up their death dates), Jim Henson, Theodore Bikel, Stan Freberg, John Lennon and George Harrison, Audrey Hepburn, Roger Moore, Leonard Bernstein...the list--unfortunately--goes on and on. EDIT: How could I forget Alex Trebek? But getting back on topic:Maybe it's because I'm something of a Disnerd, but one of my favorite RW performances is as the voice of the Genie in the original, animated Aladdin (1992).

You definitely long for the days of his comedy/acting when you watch some of his best work.

I never got into Mork and Mindy so the first time I really saw him was in The World According to Garp.
My favourite reason for buying a house.

I feel like that movie played on a continuous loop on the cable movie sites when I was a kid. Robin was great, per his usual, but John Lithgow stole every scene he was in 🤣

I loved Exidor, too! But you know how old these are based on the OJ Simpson reference. Exidor is right up there with Reverend Jim as my favorite TV characters.

Oh, thanks for posting those! I loved Exidor, too! But you know how old these are based on the OJ Simpson reference. Exidor is right up there with Reverend Jim as my favorite TV characters. Reverend Jim was a classic, and Christopher Lloyd was brilliant in that role! I remember an episode where the different characters were 'flashing back' to pivotal episodes in their lives, and we got to see Jim before Heather spiked his brownies, lol! Yeah, that goes back a ways, too. How can I remember these things, and still forget where I put my keys?
