We love waffle fries, but most places that sell them don't keep them on the menu for long. Not sure why.

I've probably had Arby's Curly Fries (#1 on the list) at some point but I can't say I remember them being particularly good.
McDonald's is my favourite, as long as they are fresh. I donāt think it takes very long for them to become a bit stale.
I agree with their ranking of the In-n-Out fries (dead last). I love their burgers and make a point of getting one at least once every time I go to California (often immediately after picking up my rental car) but I never bother with the fries. They are just not very good.

Oh, just in case anyone is curious: They really are trying to figure out how to make French fries in zero gravity. No good results so far.

Chick-fil-a's waffle fries are the best. Usually, but they were awful last time I had them.

I'd put Nathan's number 1. They stay hot, have a ripple crust. Thick and crispy.
I like In-N-Out, screw them. And why are they ranking stuff like Nacho fries against plain fries?
Doesn't KFC have fries?

Ribbed fries make me think of my 5th grade cafeteria.
I like McDonald's and In N Out fries. Curly fries at Arby's and Jack in the Crack are good once in awhile. I've had and enjoyed the crisscut ones at Carl's Jr.

Not fast food place but these fries are by far the best! You can get them at Longhorn Steakhouse.(take my word for it and have a few ice cold beers with them)

Burger King had the best fries, that's what I missed when they closed here, the burgers were okay but the fries were awesome.

Fresh Grease in the fryer makes a difference too...
Years ago, I used to work for the local grocery store... and the seafood department would fry fish for customers... On my lunch break, I used to get some Fresh Fish (Usually Catfish) and have it breaded and fried. They would give me a bun and some tarter sauce. Yummy! They would also fry up some fries too. If I got the fish on sale, I could have a nice lunch for about $4.00...
But, They didn't fry a lot of stuff, so the grease wasn't changed daily... So, I wouldn't get this meal, until they had just changed the grease in the fryer.
Fresh Fish, Freshly Fried, in Fresh Grease... Nothing Is Better!
I also worked at a Burger King for a while...
We had three Fryers... Two of them used recycled grease, however... #1 got FRESH grease every day. It was for Fries (and Hashbrowns?) only... #2 got the old grease from #1, which was filtered and cleaned. It was used for rush hour, and was primarily used to cook extra orders of Fries and Hashbrowns. But it also cooked additional food like fish and chicken as needed for huge orders, however, this was only meant for huge orders during rush hour, since the fries could be tainted with Chicken and Fish flavors... #3 got the grease from #2, which was filtered and cleaned AGAIN. It was used for the Chicken & Fish, and everything else...
No grease was used by the fourth day, the grease from #3 was discarded.
By day three, the grease was starting to turn a dark color, and began to smell "burnt"... Yeah, you wouldn't want your fries cooked in #3, especially by the end of the day...
Yeah, Get your fries at the very beginning of the Lunch Rush since that is when they'll be the best.

Iām confused, many fast food places have excellent fries. When most think of french fries they think of ketchup with them. But IMO this is the way to go! My mouth is watering just looking at those pics!
