This has been on my must play list for a while... I really like "walking sims" but haven't got around to this one yet.
Do you consider it worth the price tag considering it's only a few hours long??

I got it for free on PS Plus and thought it was decent,
I didn't know a thing about it when I started so I thought it had a great horror vibe, it genuinely had a creepy atmosphere for a while.
I think it definitely doesn't deserve the raving reviews it got, its not that good but it is well worth a one-time play through at 4.99 when its on sale.
I've played a few "Walking Simulators" and I still don't know what to think of them, a part of me sort of likes them because of their relaxed pace but a part of my just sees them as like an interactive story-light tech demo.

Try Firewatch if you haven't already. It's what sold me on the genre...

BTW im currently playing 'What Remains Of Edith Finch', great game and im really enjoying it, you should check it out if you haven't already.I'm not a big fan of "walking simulators" but I loved What Remains Of Edith Finch. There's not a huge amount of gameplay, naturally, but what is there is varied and handcrafted to fit the vignettes for each character. The Youtuber SuperBunnyHop recently put up a video on the genius of the Cannery level and I wholeheartedly agree with him that it is the most inspired depiction of what it is like to do a mundane, repetitive job while daydreaming about something else. It's more powerful due to the mechanics involved than it would be if it were conveyed in words or visuals and you end up empathizing with this character over the 15 minutes you spend with him more than most protagonists of other games. I also loved the Bathtub level (makes sense if you've played the game) where you play as a baby playing with his toys in a bathtub. It's a lighthearted, wonderful moment in spite of the tragedy that is actually transpiring. I'd recommend the game to anyone who is interested in this genre.

I just looked it up and it looks like it has everything I love about this genre. Sort of reminds me of The Vanishing of Ethan Carter, which I bought on sale but haven't yet played.
