I love German Sausages, and Italian Sausages too. I would gladly take those over a hot dog anyday, and this is coming from an avid hot dog fan.

Not the spreadable kind, but the kind that's similar to either smoked sausage or kielbasa? When I was a kid my day put them into our scrambled eggs along with cheddar cheese. It tastes BETTER than either the aforementioned smoked sausage or kielbasa. Back in the seventies (when I was a kid) it was much easier to find than it is nowadays.

But it sounds delicious. I'll be on the lookout, thanks for the recommendation.

Try more than one just in-case you don't like it the first time. Also make sure you're NOT getting the spreadable kind (similar to liverwurst), but the kind that's similar to kielbasa.

Is Liverwurst really that bad? I've never tried that. Everybody seems to hate it. But everybody hate's anchovies and I like them so I'd like to try it at least once.

...in Germany, I had something called "rindswurst" which I thought was very comparable to a hot dog...but thicker and better...
