Season 6 kind of stunk until S06E05 – Casus Belli. I hope it will continue to improve, atleast more action and less agenda to love thy Muslim.

First post! OK, what is going on now? I HAD to stop over the ridiculous "Muzzies are all victims" thing. The show went FULL Libtard. It started out as reality based and this season did a 180 and did not go part Libtard. It went FULL Libtard. You are saying the season is safe to watch now? For fans of the OLD episodes like me? Convince me, please. I have to stop watching some shows like NCIS, Blindspot, etc because they NOW offend my sensibilities. Greatly.
I have a BLAST watching re runs, however. ALL of Hollyweird (almost all) has gone to the EXTREME Left and gone FULL Libtard. I cant stand some of the writing now. I check back from time to time to see if any writers or producers have come to their senses. LMK, OK?

Only a few minutes in, BEFORE the show starts....I know where this is going from the intro(past scenes shown). The truck explosion HAS to be caused by OLD WHITE MEN using the poor innocent Muzzy as a patsy and false flag. I will eat my hat if I am wrong. The show is STILL FULL LIBTARD. Full on RAGING Libtard. Face Palm. Sigh.

Face Palm. Sigh. I do think you're right, Dave, but my initial post was to say the story was less lagging, more action. It is full libtard, hating western white males, and American policy. I am all for action. But, mostly when the good guys are winning. I saw, only losses. The plot holes and procedures for hostage negotiations was the worst I have seen on ANY TV show that I can recall. I watched the show HOPING for some redemption. I found none. And, you KNOW I will be proved correct when it comes out that some wacky "White Supremacy" group false flagged the explosion. The show even had a (poor) caricature of Alex Jones and Infowars depicted. Alex Jones who recently has been show to be RIGHT all along about George SOROS and GLOBALISM. Those two words were conspiracy fantasies not too long ago. Now, the terms are VERY much in use...everywhere. I feel guilty and manipulated for ever feeling sorry for Brody, a TRAITOR who deserved what he got. I found out that the original series made in Israel was by LEFT WINGERS. Yes, even Israel has deniers and traitors among them. Gideon Raff created “Prisoners of War" and also works on it's US counterpart Homeland. Raff is a former Israeli paratrooper who is basically a traitor to his country. He has been Libtarded by too much time living in LA. He is NOT a popular guy back home. See below. Ugh. Wanted to discuss how a dry, boring start really paid off this last episode. Loving Quinn still being the rockin' super star! But I guess this is a political forum with a bunch of whiny beeoctches with their tightly whiteys in a wad... Sad.

I kinda feel bad that I revealed a wee spoiler... Thanks for not jumping down my throat (ala IMDbUNO) for that. Whew! No worries. They've been foreshadowing things. Like him 'tuning up' the hookers boyfriend, and the strange fascination with the guy across the street. AND, it turns out, that guy is up to something? No, they've been hedging on something.

I kinda feel bad that I revealed a wee spoiler... Thanks for not jumping down my throat (ala IMDbUNO) for that. Whew! Just watched it! The pace definitely picked up! Best episode this year. But, like always in "Homeland", I'm 5 episodes in, and still not sure who all the players are. My guess is? Next week will find Carrie both trying to straighten the Quinn thing out, while the POTUS tries to figure out the 'coup'.

Next week will find Carrie both trying to straighten the Quinn thing out, while the POTUS tries to figure out the 'coup'. So, was the bore worth the wait? Can we talk freely? SPOILERS!!!! Tho more accurately my opinion: Saul will have to save the day. He values truth above ideology or the unchecked power of "The Company." That's why even after determining that Iranian dude he debriefed was lying, he still wanted to cross-check that w/ his mole Javadi (BTW I liked how they had that callback from last season). Don't know why, but Javadi amuses me. Eventually, Saul will be back in league w/ Carrie to get to the bottom of things, once he starts to get wise to Dar's back-channeling maneuvers: Sieku was just collateral damage -- sad, but he was a dumbass about spouting off after his release, so lessens the audience's emotional hit of his death. Clearly (to me) this whole thing (Carrie's stalker, the bomb, the Iran deal, prez elect's blooming problems) are all being orchestrated by Dar Adal. But... They hadn't counted on Quinn and his badassedness! Adal wants to neutralize the incoming prez whom he has deems a threat. Dar wants to derail the Iran deal. Dar is trying to get Carrie out of the prez-elect's inner circle by linking her to the "terrorist". Carrie didn't get that audio from her NSA contact (Dar?) The isolation (and later political hot potato) of the prez-elect's hasty retreat w/out staff or communication (Dar). She kept asking for a TV when one was already upstairs. And that "helper" lady is creepy which may not mean anything. Then Dar gave the prez elect a phone--- wouldn't trust that for a second! i thought it was a fun ride, this episode -- tying together all the players into one grand conspiracy Trouble is, even tho Dar has been a conniving ass previously, even this seems well beyond what he'd do, so maybe I'm way off. Maybe that's just too easy. Any thoughts?

Maybe that's just too easy. Any thoughts? Yea, I was kind of wondering if Dar is orchestrating this whole thing, but? I dunno. 5 episodes in, and they have him pretty well dressed in black, like the ultimate bogeyman? I dunno.....has to be more. Also, was the cop/Quinn dialog, ie, "you're not cops", some sort of reference to a fictional "blackwater" outfit stateside? Or just a 'red herring'? Whatever is going on there, Quinn seems to have it sized up. The whole "POTUS being whisked away from all her people" plot line is ringing false for me. Although, yea, that creepy lady and the whole Alex Jones thing is kind of.......creepy. Oh, one other thing, not related to the plot as we see it now, but I'm betting very relevant?
The actor whose playing the 'bad guy' FBI agent just did a six year stint as "Nurse Jackie's" husband! That was also a Showtime Series. I'm thinking he's not the bad guy.

@mickeeteez
Ok, bear with me: "the 'bad guy' FBI agent..." We're talkin about the guy who was out to frame Seiku, right? (Cuz I've not seen Nurse Jackie yet.). I thought he was a District Atty., tho I could be really off. Now I'll have to watch older episodes to wrap my head around that new bit if Intel. I think he'll be more sympathetic to Carrie once he gets the lo-down on the mystery audio.
What about the isolation of the prez-elect does not ring true? She didn't want to leave. It went against her (alluded to) statements about not over-reacting ant "every pop(?)" and then used as easy fodder for the ranty TV guy later on -- like cutting and running, diminishing her appearance (esp.as a woman) of strength in the face of terrorism. Not to make light of it, but it was only two ppl killed. Wouldn't that be seen as an over-reaction?
She was not available to media (so hiding like a coward). Plus, I couldn't get why her chief of staff couldn't travel with her, why not? That's just weird. What if she had a spouse, wouldnt they be make accommodations for him? She was cut off from everyone in her circle, surrounded by strangers and that creepy knitting woman watching the polemic coverage. A television? Computer? C'mon -- she might as well been in a Super Max. She couldn't even watch ongoing coverage of the incident, so lacked any information except what Dar told her. Plus she couldn't make any outgoing calls. I'd call all that fairly significant.
And I agree, Dar is too easy as the villain -- that's his running schtick (like last year colluding w/ that terrorist dude in Pakistan(?)) But remember when he warned Carrie: "You don't know who you're dealing with" or some such thing -- rather ominous, but again, perhaps the exact "look at the monkey!" diversion meant to trick the audience.
Quinn may be the only one seeing things as they are. It was interesting he found out that the media were tipped off anonymously. I didn't even wonder about that. But how can he possibly get out of the clink? He threw the reporter down the stairs, shot a man, and caused a whole hostage situation and assaulted a swat dude (u think the police are in on the conspiracy? Whoa. Mind blown). Hard to see how they'll say "oh misunderstanding, go with God...." He'll have to be broken out if he's to see the light of day, IMO.

This guy? Bingo!! I really thought he was the District Atty! See! This is why I need the boards! I'm sure this was obvious -- don't know where I got this perception... Thanks for the corrected thinking. Will probably make more sense moving forward, ha ha!

Thanks for the corrected thinking. Will probably make more sense moving forward, ha ha! He's a special agent with the FBI. And given his 'hunk' status in a long running (7 years) Showtime Series? It would surprise me if he's 'the bad guy' in this. But, I certainly could be wrong.
