Well you're in luck he's going to do not just one but two more before linking it all back up with the first alien film!

Unlike Prometheus, I don't think that this movie had a problem with not making sense. The only thing that didn't make sense is why the engineers looked different.

I meant how this all leads into Alien if it even is supposed to. Who the engineers God is and whats their deal with him, if they even have one and more...

Well you're in luck he's going to do not just one but two more before linking it all back up with the first alien film! That is disheartening. I would prefer just one more prequel. And then a sequel series set after Alien 3 with a new director and new characters and new ideas. Ignore Alien: Resurrection completly or make another movie with Ripley 8 that is good and has a decent send off for the character.

Ridley is going to be 80 this year and he's still got so many movies to make.
I hope he lives to be 100 so that he can get most of them done.

I'd rather he adapt Joe Haldeman's The Forever War to the big screen. The Alien films are not breaking any new ground.

I am interested to see what the end game to all this is. I hope FOX lets him finish it. After Ridley complete his story, I won't mind another directors to step up and take over the franchise.

It's obvious that if you make a few minor tweaks to the ending of Prometheus then there you have a prequel which explains the ship in they encounter in Alien. I'm certain that was in one of the drafts. Just name the planet the same name and have the Alien (a queen) burst out whilst the Engineer is in the seat of the cockpit and done.
They should have done that. Then we could have David and his adventures as films which had no impact on the earlier Alien films which we know.

Damn. I really do hope to see the conclusion to this prequel series. I really want to see David die or get destroyed in a horrible way. And I really liked what Ridley did with Covenant. I bought it on DVD and I don't buy movies often. BUT I guess it doesn't have enough retarded jokes like "I have famously huge turds."

No, because it's getting pointless.

No, because it's getting pointless. Male nipples always were! "Did you make a penis?"...no...sorry,.. I just should really stop quoting this film...

David didn’t go to the Engineer planet because he did not think he could destroy them. The beings we saw were probably like humans in that they were spawned by the engineers, only unlike us they have contact with the engineers.
