You know they do this all the time, right? I mean, they give working titles to keep movies secret. Saying someone is doing something to keep another person's private life private is not all that farfetched. But I understand, you want that Batgirl movie so bad that you can't see it not coming out because they said so. Still waiting on Bryan Singer's Logan's Run and Liman's Justice League Dark. You seem far more invested in it NOT coming out than anyone else is about it actually happening. I just know not to expect a movie to come out. Just wait for the trailer. There have been movies that have been in pre-production (almost to filming) that hasn't come out. I mean, what would you do if they announce that Whedon is taking over the Justice League line of movies and not going to do Batgirl? Just start making "Avengers" movies for DC.

"I mean, without him saying why it looks like a was fired and replaced. Kind of a Josh Trank situation." This is what I said. It would be seen as such if he just left and was replaced while trying to keep it private. People have been wanting them to replace Snyder for the longest. Especially after BvS. People would see it in the same light as the Trank situation*, because of that wanting him to be taken off the DCEU, without that explanation because he wanted to keep it private. Also, from what was said, Trank was trying to live like a rock star all through making the movie. *Not talking about Trank being an a-hole. But him being removed and someone finishing the movie for him. Hell, another example would be Richard Donner on Superman 2, but Trank is more recent. Another thing. Stop looking at it as me trying to be a troll. You guys get so defensive. Troll? Nah, but maybe just over analyzing this situation. And they're similar situations, but occurred for vastly different reasons. That's what I said.

He just wrote some of it. You can even tell that he recycled the band of mercenaries for Firefly. I heard Alien:Res mostly followed his script, but Whedon blamed it being awful on the casting and direction. That's pretty much his go to defense for anything he does that sucks (re: Storm's lightning line from X-Men), but still, Whedon's had more hits than misses. The Storm lightning line was a running gag that Toad said through out the script. Similar to Quicksilver's "You didn't see that coming?" They took all of the lead up lines out of the movie so it didn't make sense when it came to the pay-off when Storm says it. He also said he envisioned it being said more quirky by Storm like Buffy. So yes, that was the fault of the direction and casting (Berry was kinda awful for the part). Age of Ultron was pretty much the X-men movie he wanted that first movie to be (Ultron was clearly a stand-in for Magneto).

All we want from Fox and WB is to: Fox is working on that. If Whedon actually does make Batgirl then all the better because they'll have another good director in their stable (if Wonder Woman lives up to what they are saying).

I never said that it was to lure him into the world. I said it was a cover for the media. The Snyder family had a tragedy in March. Whedon was announced to be doing Batgirl at the end of what month? You guessed it, March. Now we get the news that Whedon is doing rewrites and reshoots on Justice League because Snyder wants to be with his family because of what happened 2 months ago. And he said he didn't say anything about it publicly because he wanted it to be private. 2+2=4. They got Whedon to come in and do rewrites and reshoots because the Snyders didn't want people to know about what happened (at least not yet) so they said that Whedon was there to do Batgirl. Again, it wasn't a lure. They hired Whedon to work on Justice League from the word "get."

How in any way is that me saying that anybody here wishes DC to keep failing?

We'll just have to wait and see if there is news about Batgirl after he's done with Justice League. And like I've also said before, we need Whedon in the DCEU because they need good directors working for them. If he is only there to polish Justice League then that is a very big loss for the DCEU.

Yes. My words...now explain how what I wrote is somehow saying that any of us wants DC to fail? All I'M saying is...and have been saying since the beginning...is that I very much think you are hearing hoofbeats and assuming it's a Zebra instead of a horse. They brought Joss on for Batgirl. Snyder saw some things weren't working and asked for Joss' input since he was "on the team" now. Joss Whedon has done this exact same thing on numerous movies, Toy Story and the original X-Men just for examples. Now once the tragedy happened, Snyder couldn't focus on writing those scenes, so he/they asked Joss to do it...then when he stepped down Joss was the natural fit. I don't see any reason for the Batgirl "rouse" as you seem to think it is. At worst, assuming Batgirl really isn't a thing, they say "We have Joss Whedon helping put some finishing touches on JL! Isn't that great!?" Like I said, he literally does this exact same thing all the time... Why a fake movie for the press?

Actually, no. The story they are going with is that he (Snyder) was going to work on the reshoots/rewrites after a test screening. But his mind was on his family. So they got Whedon to fill in for him and finish the movie so he can be with his family. Snyder blamed trolls on why he didn't say anything. In his head, he saw that trolls would have said he got fired or something (they were already headhunting for him to be taken off the DCEU movies). But at the same time he wanted his family life to be private (hard to do that when he works with his wife). So you can see where he would concoct a plan that went around what he should have done: come out and say that he has to deal with some personal issues and that Whedon is taking over for him. He was the one that said that his mind was on his family and not the movie, so wasn't thinking straight forward. I know that Whedon helping to finish Justice League would be great. You know that Whedon helping to finish Justice League would be great. A lot of people know that would be great. It seems that Snyder only saw how this would affect his reputation in his current state of mind. And a lot of us actually want as many comic book movies as they can make. Batgirl would be a good thing (as long as they don't make a live action of the animated Killing Joke). It seems Wonder Woman is getting good reviews. Let's hope that translate into ticket sales so the execs don't blame it on female led superhero movies and there really is no Batgirl movie.

I don't care who you like and will never understand anyone actively rooting against either side. Secondly, Then why are you so insistent that Batgirl won't ever happen? THIS is what I simply don't understand about basically every one of your posts. You say you want more movies and then basically say that there is no way they will ever make one of them... Why not just say "I can't wait for Batgirl" instead of "Batgirl won't happen because it was just a story to hide that he is working on Justice League."? Can you please just answer that one simple question?

Like I said, seems a lot like hearing hoofbeats and assuming Zebra and not Horse.

Seems like the controversy started because Weirdraptor was more concerned with the movie than the family tragedy. and he got the shitstorm and lied again about his condolences. And seriously only a psycho raptor believes it ethically works to say that he gave condolences elsewhere after pissing on the grave during the condolences session ... Now if you find his racist slurs and the threat where he played a black lady sock defending the "gentlemen" and his remarks , you get the Pulitzer ....
