"Things to Do in Denver When You're Dead". Witty, literate, with some great characters: Jimmy the Saint, Critical Bill, Franchise etc. Why Gary Fleder's movie gem isn't better known is a mystery.

Clint Eastwood's Blood Work (2002) is something of a neo-noir.

Brick (2005) is a good noir movie that you may have not seen. If you are looking for a Raymond Chandler feel to a film from the modern era, it's one you won't want to miss.

Bugsy Malone is pre-pubescent kids parodying the movies of the 'thirties. Brick is kids a decade older parodying the movies of a decade later. It is worth a watch and definitely a noir.

Very surprised not to see The Maltese Falcon on this thread. Some of the very best film noir featured Humphrey Bogart and, in my opinion, that is his best. Other noir films I would recommend are The Big Sleep, The Third Man, Out of the Past, Notorious and Mildred Pierce.
