Even though James Cameron created the Queen Alien, I am really interested in seeing how Ridley Scott would handle that character if he has it in his Next "ALIEN" Movie.

Oh, I totally agree. In fact, I want David to reveal that the Queen is his masterpiece... just like David was Mr. Weyland's masterpiece. And just like David, the Queen is too independent and completely turns against her creator. That's what I want to see. David become a Victor Frankenstein and get what's coming to him.

What if he made David the queen. Somehow David becomes a hybrid with human and alien DNA. He is after all pursuing his ambition to create life so who knows.

Oh, That would be Freaking Awesome to see Happen and it would also most definitely be the PERFECT way for David to go out.

Personally I hope Ridley Scott is banned from any participation in the next film.

frogarama, you're a cinematic retard if you think Ridley Scott failed to do what he set out to do. I think he intended audiences to loathe David by the end of this film and for my money, he totally succeeded. That's an achievement whether you like the rest of the film or not. Frankly, I don't know what the hell some of you bitter critics wanted in Covenant.

I hope Scott only focuses on leading the prequel series into first movie. Leave the Queen as the surprise that it always has been.

Question: Does David creating the eggs eliminate the queen? What I mean is, does that eliminate Aliens from Ridley Scott's personal canon? In deleted scenes from the original movie we are shown that the drums can make their own eggs.

I was referring to a deleted scene in the first movie that showed Dallas and Brett cocooned and a couple of eggs laying in front of them. Before the sequel, which I am not sure if Ridley counts, it seems they were toying with the idea of a regular ole drone/warriors can lay their own eggs.

I've seen a scene where Dallas was cocooned but I don't recall eggs.

I don't remember at present. Ridley Scott said in the commentary (of the Director's Cut) that he wasn't keen on the concept of Director's Cut as he felt the Theatrical Cut would always be the Director's Cut, but that he was pushed into making one. So he added some scenes that were cut, but at the same time removed other scenes so that the run time remained exactly the same. And then he called it "Director's Cut". I don't remember if this particular scene was one of the ones included.

This is the same guy who also released a directors cut for Blade Runner, said Prometheus was a prequel to Alien, and said there wouldn't be any "dragons" (xenomorphs) in Alien Covenant. I don't know if it's on the directors cut, I always saw it online.

Based on some of the recently released material, it looks like you'll get your wish: There's some kind of deleted epilogue, where David implies he will use Daniels to create the Queen.
