I have to say Kylo Ren, for now. His character has the most development and is the most conflicted with his struggle from being pulled to the light side. He pretty much carries the psychological problems of today's mass gun shooters due to a broken household, poor paternal rendering, and influences from darker forces. Leia is pretty occupied with being a high-ranking Senator in the New Republic to be a proper mother, and hides the truth that his grandfather was Darth Vader. Han Solo, who is less interested in political affairs, probably wasn't the best father figure.
Supreme Leader Snoke may be the most sinister, but even with the minimal information we know about him, he's still pretty interesting. General Hux has menace, but was very over-the-top with his speech on Starkiller Base. It was also pretty interesting he is feuding with Ren for Snoke's affections. Captain Phasma was just okay and was almost identical to Boba Fett with having a distinctively unique outfit, but does little in the actual story. I hope we see more of her in The Last Jedi.

J.J. Abrams, Lawrence Kasdan, Harrison Ford, and Kathleen Kennedy -- all tied for first place!

Favorite villain in TFA?... That lieutenant guy who says "Just look! We won't survive. Even Hux is gone!" and runs away when being ordered not to abandon his post as the oscillator is blowing up. Yeah! That guy should get a role in the next movie for one of the few bad guys who didn't come off as boring, cartoonish, incompetent, stupid, or delusionally unstable.

I'll go with Snoke. He was a more enigmatic villain which the series had not really had before. His powers, capabilities, and status are all currently unknown to the audience therefore we don't truly know how powerful he is.
That said, I do not think that any of the villains were great. Hux was forgettable, Phasma was criminally under utilized, Kylo Ren came off as petulant at times, and Snoke is too much of a mystery thus far. I do hope that they will be better used in the subsequent film, and I will keep an open mind, but for now I would only rank them as decent.

Who is your Favorite Villain in "STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS" ? It's a triple tie between laziness, nostalgia and a lack of good ideas.

That dude should've been General Hux, not Domhnall. Either him or the guy earlier in TFA who says, "...and stop that Fighter!" during Finn and Poe's escape.

Instead we got a pansexual tween playing dress-up in his father's military uniform as Hux.

I suppose the Leader character, though we didn’t find out a thing about him. I really thought (and I mentioned this) that he was supposed to be Palpatine until I looked him up. Now that I think of it, though, he looked a lot like Voldemort on the back of Quirrell’s head in The Sorcerer’s Stone. Dear God, the more I think of it the more it came off like a Harry Potter movie.
I thought the main villain, Kylo Ren (“Darth Horseface”) was the worst part of the movie. And his red-haired second-in-command just made me miss Peter Cushing.

George Lucas for selling the franchise to Disney.
