Uh...that's a fake fan trailer. Kind of obvious.

Don't see the point of posting a fake trailer, but this is bad news for this project. They obviously have no faith in it whatsoever.

November is going to be a busy month still - Dune: Part II, The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes, Trolls 3: The Trollstopia. It will really depend on how effective the marketing campaign is and if word of the mouth is very good. Disney also has Wish so if one underperforms, they still have the other to hope to make better profit.

It could simply mean that they want a big movie to be released in the last quarter of the year, and that they want their releases to be more spaced out.

Sure, and that never occurred to them before now.

They're releasing the Indiana Jones movie this Summer, aren't they? Why would they want two of their big movies this year to compete with each other?

You think they didn't realize the schedule when these things were first announced? Come on. That Indy date has been set for a while, but they waited until now to push The Marvels back to November?

Indy and the Marvels aren't made by the same people, they could easily have been made and then scheduled separately and then someone realized "Whoops, we got a double booking!" and had to make changes.

Both release dates were announced a while ago. With hundreds of millions of dollars at stake, you'd think they would've noticed it immediately. They flipped The Marvels with Haunted Mansion, still a double booking by your logic. Stop being such a board defender, I'm not the mental midget making hate threads all day long on this board. I'm an MCU fan, I want the Marvels to be good. It's not a good sign that it's been delayed four months. It isn't a death sentence, but it isn't good news in the moment.

Uh-Huh, you're being a tad doom-mongering.

For the record, until a few months ago, Disney was supposed to have a Blade movie coming out in November. Once that was moved to 2024, it meant that Disney no longer had any big movies for the last quarter of the year, apart from Wish.

Weird that the same studio didn't just immediately come to the conclusion you're suggesting and immediately move The Marvels into that slot.
