Well he's the director of the films listed in the polls, heard of them?

Yes, and I'm happy to say I haven't seen any of them.

Really liked Training Day. I find most of his films okay but entertaining enough. But I really hated his King Arthur movie.

Fuqua is an interesting director, he makes nice popcorn films, but just a tad over forgettable. For example I was midway through Southpaw the other day (didn't get to finish it since my fucking dvr deleted it.......) and while the story is nothing new.....like in the slightest, he manages to take that formula and not make it feel tiring.
And I think he manages to accomplish this because of what he does best, which is characters. Pulling something good to great out of his lead actors, allowing him to take a paint by numbers script and keep it refreshing. also his films are fairly "sleek"

Went with Southpaw which I think is a majorly underrated boxing movie.
Am a fan of most of his movies though to be fair. Also really like Training Day, King Arthur, Olympus Has Fallen and The Magnificent Se7en. The only 2 of those I haven't seen are Bait and Brooklyn's Finest.
