For a long time a lot of people have argued that believing in God, being a Christian, etc., was proof you were stupid and not educated whatsoever and pretty much too stupid to live, etc...I wonder how those same people feel when they see stuff like this:
Either they think these people are all Christians...or that they're intelligent.

For a long time a lot of people have argued that believing in God, being a Christian, etc., was proof you were stupid and not educated whatsoever and pretty much too stupid to live, etc. Substantiation for this last bit? According to a 2015 global survey by Gallup International, the most religious had lower levels of education, however, religious people in general were a majority in all educational levels while a 2005 EU survey finds a positive correlation between leaving school early and believing in a God. I would not claim that any of the above is definitive, let alone proving anything, but it is good to be aware of some of the research and rthe way it tends. It is worth saying however that academics and those in higher education probably do not think YouTube the authoritative source - which Novastar evidently does...

So you hate YouTube. Maybe you'd like to give us charts and graphs on the education/religious levels of people who think criminals shouldn't be jailed, only people who try to stop them, that parents don't have a right to access their minor children's medical records without said child's consent, that there have ALWAYS been millions of people born the wrong genders and cutting off their breasts and genitals will make them feel whole, that science is something that can be owned and anybody who questions it is an enemy to society, that setting yourself on fire/hanging yourself/overdosing on medicine because TikTok said to, is a good idea, etc.

Either they think these people are all Christians...or that they're intelligent. I don't think anything, as you've just thrown up several examples of more false equivalency. Because some individuals may behave in ways you characterize as dumb makes absolutely no dent in the fact that blind faith in an unprovable (i.e. god) does not lend itself terribly well to the notion of unbiased critical intellect. And for all you know, at least some of those people in those videos may well be Christians, perhaps quite devout ones. Perhaps you'd best go back and rescan those sentences in your holy scriptures that quote your spiritual leader as saying something that sounds suspiciously like "Judge not, lest ye be judged."

Perhaps you'd best go back and rescan those sentences in your holy scriptures that quote your spiritual leader as saying something that sounds suspiciously like "Judge not, lest ye be judged."
Well let's recap. Devout Christians ain't going into stores and stealing thousands of dollars worth of merchandise because 'why should I pay/work?' Devout Christians are not going to believe God MISTAKENLY created millions of people born into the wrong bodies because He had no idea what He was doing, or believe men should shoot anyone that doesn't want them taking their penises out in the women's bathroom, or that a man can get pregnant and give birth. They're sure as hell not going to lie about their husband raping them to get a Wifi password. And it's very unlikely devout Christian women would be so bored, let alone stupid, as to make TikTok videos in their underwear wearing dog ears and fangs and acting like it's something to be proud of.
People LOVE to throw out 'judge not', but they forget there's another verse that says KNOW a tree by its fruit. Knowing is not judging. A few things we *know*, in previous generations we didn't have to have warning labels that milk contains...milk, or that a bag of peanuts, big shocker here, nobody could possibly figure it out on their own, it's straight up MENSA material, contains NUTS. In previous generations, kids knew how to tell time on a clock.
In previous generations, a teacher's job was to TEACH kids how to read, write, do math, about English, science, history, instead of this:
Let's take a look back at how teachers operated and how students functioned in a less 'progressive' time where people still talked about God in school and far more people identified as religious/Christian.
Now let's go further back, to an 8th grade final exam from 1895, back when people were SOOOOOOO uneducated, and stupid, and mostly just a bunch of backwater simpletons who never even went to high school, let alone college, so what the hell could they possibly know, especially in a hick state like Kansas, home of Dorothy and Toto?
I wonder how many of the above featured teachers would be able to pass this podunk exam that's so easy a 13 year old could take it?

Devout Christians have been known to commit sin, even major ones. If you believe in your god, you accept the notion that all that happens is due to his will, in which he foreordained all things, and for which he knows the ultimate reason for their being. His will is mysterious and not for you to know or pass judgement on. If you're a 'mouth Christian' (as most are), you ignore the teachings of your holy book and set yourself up as god, to pronounce judgement. And, AFAIC, your judgments and pronouncements aren't worth a damn; they're as valueless as those asinine videos you continually dredge up and post here, and which prove nothing except your own ability to root up material that supports your own unexamined biases. Like many another of your type, I suspect your god doesn't really think too much of you. But that's going to be between you and him once you meet him face to face, if such a thing actually happens.

amyghostI can’t believe you’re actually trying to reason with that guy; he’s literally not capable of that. Straw man arguments, red-herring, question begging, and burden shifting is really all that he can do. All of his arguments are fallacious and he just vomits out nonsensical assertions that have no basis in fact. You can’t reach people like that by reasoning - trust me, they’re too far gone. Better to just mock and ridicule them for the sake of entertainment.

True enough; I guess it's mostly the die-hard didact in me that tries to get a little air into the room by cutting through their copious bullshit--especially when that BS goes unchallenged, and has the opportunity to pollute the minds of some bystanders.

No, I just said others do not see it as an authoritative source, whereas it is practically the only site you reference. I will just stick to the theme of the thread if you don't mind, but thanks for the invitation. Although a glimpse of your issues is always entertaining.

No one has yet to remark about the speech given in the video by the OP. At 1:31 in the spiel, he says, How much credibility are you going to give someone who has been in multiple mental hospitals? (when I heard that, I didn't listen to the rest of the video)
Anyone, be they Christian, Jew, JW, atheist, or Hindu, will be able to find some Bible passage and some famous person who supports their position. The late James Randy once said that no matter how good you are; no matter how observant you think you are, you can be fooled. Maybe I'm one of those that has been fooled.

Dr. David Wood is a diagnosed psychopath who tried to murder his father with a hammer (while he was an atheist, he says).

Deepest sympathies for those tragically suffering from "an absence of dry land" in Libya and those in Morocco from "an absence of still ground".

Yes The most religious adults have an average IQ of 97.1, whereas atheist adults have an average IQ of 103.1 This lines up with data I've seen. A professor of psychology at the University of Ulster did a study comparing belief in God and IQs in thousands of youths. They found that atheists had an average IQ six points higher than non-atheists.

Every generation has been subsequently more educated and morally superior than the previous one. The current generation is in fact the most educated and least dumb.

Perhaps you'd best go back and rescan those sentences in your holy scriptures that quote your spiritual leader as saying something that sounds suspiciously like "Judge not, lest ye be judged." I think it would be great if every fact ever were available to every person ever. It is rather obvious however that there are many things that escape the perception of many individuals. It's cute when infants playing peek-a-boo are surprised that the person who disappeared is still in the sport. When retarded atheists on the internet speak about "unprovable" anything, it is just very annoying. Just because you can't see something, does not mean no one can. You want "unprovable"? Prove that anyone who claims to receive revelation did not. Oh no! You can't. Well, there's your "unprovable" for you. You need to allow religion to examine those things that are beyond the reach of science. Some of the most important things are beyond the reach of science. It will necessarily involve speculation, but a lot of things you consider "science" are no more than speculation. Science now "knows" that life did not originate by any sheer chance assembly. The agency necessary for assembly is clearly not present. The "RNA soup" for example is clearly not doing anything. Before life begins, smaller molecules have the competitive advantage. Critically analyze that. Before the 1930s when microscopes couldn't magnify more than about 200 times, and life was thought to be simple, people who believed in a god were considered by some to be stupid. Now that we know life is far too complicated to have originated without an agency not currently in our science, it is the other way around. People who do not believe in a god are the stupid ones. That is whether you finally get it or not.
