As for Dark Willow I'm glad they didn't leave her for S7, and I was honestly rooting for her to win, is that bad?
No it's not bad to root for her. Unless you start drawing horrible pictures of her victory, in colour on your walls .... Then it just might be time to call someone.
I was pretty glad she was not the S7 Big Bad. But I truly thought that's where they were going!

Good reference, I forget the name of the vengeance demon... sorry "Justice Demon" that had that.

Lloyd. Here's the conversation in S7 Selfless:
It was a tricky one, tho. Only a true fan would have gotten that one. THIS is one of my favorite Willow moments: ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- They all look up when Angel makes a quick and noisy entrance, breathing hard from running. Angel: (very upset) Buffy, I... I just... Something's happened that... He pauses when he gets patient, waiting looks from Buffy and Xander. Angel: (blurts it out) Willow's dead. Buffy and Xander nod knowingly. Willow straightens up from leaning against the door frame. Angel notices her. Angel: (distractedly) Hey, Willow. He looks back at Buffy and Xander. Xander raises his eyebrows at him. Suddenly it clicks in Angel's mind, and he does a double take at Willow. Angel: (very confused) Wait a second. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- www.buffyworld.com/buffy/transcripts/050_tran.html

Of the list, Glory. Also, unsouled Spike. I strongly disagree, as seasons progressed Spike became a whiny little bitch. I'm not sure you can disagree that unsouled Spike was her favorite Big Bad. On the other hand, one could take exception at referring to him as a Big Bad since he never actually played that role in any of the seven seasons.

Well, he was poised to be the Big Bad for the first half of S2 until Angelus emerged.

That's true, though for me it was all a sorry mess -- I hated the Trio so I was happy to see the focus removed from them but watching willow go Dark wasn't exactly the relief I had hoped for.

I understand the desire for revenge. It's not something I would relish seeing in anyone I care about. It is self-destructive and toxic. Within the story, I would not say that it had a beneficial effect on Willow. For one thing, it turned her against her friends.

Thanks for the support, Inoland. It's things like "I disagree with your choice" that make me reticent to post again. Question was asked, question was answered. I may not agree with others' choices for big bad, but I don't make comments about it.

The FIRST thing she did as Dark Willow was to save Buffy's life. And Xander was right when he said that Warren was "just as evil as any Vampire you've (Buffy) have sent to dust-ville." Warren even tried to kill Dark Willow with an axe, he had to go.

Please don'pt feel bullied or that your choice was wrong, it was a slight against Spike, whom IMO never achieved Big Bad status.

She wasn't being abusive, she just has a different opinion. My reply and the "smiley" was just a recognition that her syntax, in light of the wording of the question, made it sound like she was disagreeing that you believe something you believe instead of saying that she has a different opinion. It was just a poor choice of wording -- but everyone's being civil and we want to know your opinion.

Warren even tried to kill Dark Willow with an axe, he had to go. Believe me, I was perfectly happy to have Warren gone, and I certainly wouldn't argue that he didn't deserve his fate. I was more concerned about the effect on Willow and, even if they'd portrayed it as if it had been good for her (which they did not), that wouldn't jibe with my understanding of these feelings. And even if you argue that Warren deserved the way he was treated by Willow, Buffy and Giles did not.
