Showdown between hosts and humans, Bernard struggling with being a host, Delores and Teddy joining Wyatt's gang, the black chick who's in charge struggling between what's right and wrong, Maeve looking for her 'daughter'....what else am I missing? None sound interesting, save for Bernard. And I avoid spoilers, so I haven't seen the trailer for S2. So I'm just talking of what's 'obvious' in S2E1. No, I agree, setting up a bunch of "searches" ( Maeve = daughter, Delores = real world, Bernard = health, MIB = whatever, Delos = one valuable host ) is kind of lame. Yeah, that's basically what I thought. Only one I'm really interested in is MIB, now that he finally has the more intense game he wanted.

Good thinking! I guess we will just have to wait and see how these pan out. I'm not normally a Westerns fan, so my viewership might wane unless they pull this off as well as they did S1.

It made me want to rewatch season 1, so I'm up.to about the 4th episode right now. He really was my fav character (love the actor).

I didnt even start watching the show until right before the S2 premiere when I binge-watched S1, so I didn't have 2 years to mull it over. And I still want to rewatch S1, a couple of weeks later.

I didn't really understand much of what happened, and I think the time jumps are confusing me. At least Maeve's storyline interested me again in her.

The time jumps aren't making much sense here, because they're literally showing us 3 minutes of a storyline (what happened in the immediate aftermath of the hosts rebelling at the end of S1) last night, when the rest of the episode is a couple of weeks or so later. I think they found that the William/Logan haha we fooled you, that took place 30 years ago a success and figured they'd try to pull it off again. It wouldn't surprise me if we find out later in the show this season that time isn't as it appears.

There might have been more jumps than you realize.
1 ) The soldiers arrived at the main control room asking if they "found Abernathy" 2 ) the people they asked were then shown "finding Abernathy" ( and then losing him to Delores ) 3 ) the attack on the fort took place after "step 1"
pretty confusing

I bought the first season on blu ray albeit my belly was in rebellion against it.
So, I watched it, and albeit the first minutes made me almost sick for I hate the Western theme -and I was close to abort it- and it buggers me to this hour, it was far better then I imagined. The Sci-Fi moment and the ideas are more then enough to make up for this damn setting in the wild west of the 19th century.
My favorite char is Armistice. What a babe. Ed Harris and Anthony Hopkins are rock solid - I mean it as a genuine compliment. Wood, Newton and Wright do also a good if not very good job. Only Tessa Thompson is god awful - the only character I can't stand. The rest is good to above average.

I thought season 1 was great. Have not seen season 2 yet.
