George Lazenby in The Return of the Man from U.N.C.L.E. George Lazenby's appearance as "JB" in The Return of the Man from U.N.C.L.E.
This special came out in 1983 the same year as Octopussy and Never Say Never Again
So in one year we saw all three bonds.

I saw it when taped to BETA formatted tape over 30 years ago! I don't remember Lazenby and couldn't believe they dug up Vaughn & McCallum for this remake! Unfortunately I haven't checked it out since!

Poor George! He really shot himself in the foot, although I do think that OHMSS is a great film.

I feel very conflicted after watching that scene.
I don't know whether to laugh, cry or pass gas...
Okay, I now have two options left to try.
By the way, was anyone sued for that?

I watched it when it aired live just to see Lazenby. I liked it, though it was kind of sad seeing the guy trying desperately to hold on to something he actually let go.
Those that weren't around back then should know we were really inundated with Bonds. We had Moore in the official series, Connery's return, Lazenby doing this bit, and we also at that time had Moore doing Bond driving his Aston Martin in that CANNONBALL RUN film.It was an interesting time to be a Bond fan.
