Fuck was that even supposed to be?! What was the point of those scenes. God damn it, Whitaker sucked as Saw.

I see the Ackbars are onboard with this. 👍
I know quite a few people didn't like Whitaker's performance as Saw Guerrera, but I liked that part of the movie. Maybe it's because it was over the top compared to the rest of the characters in the movie.
There's that scene where Bohdi is on his knees before him and Saw just stares at him for what seems like 10 minutes like he's stoned out of his mind! Then he takes that hit on his oxygen mask like he's sneaking a quick puff on a hookah. Then... "BOR GULLET!"
And then Bohdi gets up off the floor with whispered mumbling "W-w-wait. What? What d'you mean Bor Gullet?" Then comes the half muffled shouting in protest as he's led away.
I know some people want roll their eyes during that part of the movie. But despite the fact that it's a little over the top, I can't help but smirk during that part. You get the sense that there's a little bit of DC Joker in Whitaker's Saw Guerrera. Like that guy could go right off the deep end into Crazyville at any second, and smile and laugh his way through it. Actually I would've liked to see him play that side of the character up a bit more.
It did seem in some spots that he was slipping into a parody of it though. And it was such a small part anyway.
"Lies! Every day more lies!"
