I know I am. "Loaded with calories, high in sodium, packing more cholesterol than steak, and sprinkled with hormones — if cheese were any worse, it would be Vaseline ... Some foods are fattening. Others are addictive. Cheese is both — fattening and addictive." Doctor's Book Presents The Case Against 'Dairy Crack'

I love all kinds of cheese, even if I am a bit lactose intolerant. I don't care!

Due to my lactose intolerance I really can't eat much. Had some last night and was up at 4 am hunched over in pain.

I hope that everyone can forgive me for saying this, but I love bad processed cheese, particularly the kind McDonald's use.

Yes. When I was little my nickname was mouse. Gruyere is my favorite, with smoked Swiss second.

Yes I love it and so many varieties to choose from. I love Halloumi but just found out my cholesterol is high so it's goodbye Halloumi.

I've loved mozzarella and pepper jack cheese for sandwiches in the past. As my body has aged though, I cannot tolerate cheese as much as I used to. I can eat swiss without much trouble, but anything else is unfortunately no good. You don't see swiss cheese on pizza.

Doctor's Book Presents The Case Against 'Dairy Crack' I love cheese but I have to use all my skills of food discipline and restraint not to overdo it with cheese.
My current favorite cheese is a Shropshire blue cheese from England. It's like a combination of Stilton blue cheese and a really good sharp cheddar:

Due to my lactose intolerance I really can't eat much. Had some last night and was up at 4 am hunched over in pain. I am, too. I find that the hard, aged-over-12 month cheeses are tolerable. Soft cheeses, not so much. Also, I eat goat's milk cheeses (Brie) which I seem to be able to tolerate.

I am on the cusp of suspecting some sort of adult onset lactose intolerance from eating too much cheese too often. It gives me the nastiest dumps anymore.

...love cheese, in moderation.
I like the exotic ones like Pont l'Eveque, Mimolette, Morbier, aged Gouda and Lancashire. Too many others to list here.
With whole grain crackers and some of any of the above with a glass of good quality red wine...delightful !!!

Unfortunately yes, and have way too much. Cheese is not the best to help aid digestion in the system. Mozarella is apparently high in B12 for those low, if vegetarians who don't have an issue with dairy, as well as swiss cheese. I'm having a hard time understanding "cheese"....and...."way too much" in the same sentence.

I can only enjoy cheese when used with other foods. When it's by itself I can't stand the taste.

...try some Liederkrantz... My dear mother when I was about 7 had taken some of that, & put it on toasted bread & stuck it in the microwave. My dear father proceeded to come down the stairs, into the kitchen, & say "Jesus H Christ what the hell is that smell!" Remembrances like those make me miss my mom & dad all the more.

...yes, Liederkrantz was very pungent. One other that was a favorite of mine was Pont'lEveque. Very gamy odoriferous cheese especially if purchased beyond its date...however, when fresh, a fabulous cheese on crusty French bread w/a good red wine...
