The goalie mask is my preference because it's so iconic. Over the years, the potato sack grew on me, it's much more scarier... I agree, the potato sack is much creepier. It's a one-off thing that worked great in the second film. While I agree that the potato sack is creepier I'm also happy that it was a one-off thing. Goalie mask isn't as creepy but it also doesn't "wear out" while the potato sack would have quickly lost it's creepiness would it have been used in too many sequels. Btw there was a rather recent Swedish slasher with a potato sack mask killer. I don't remember what it's called though... and it was shit anyway. |

Which one you prefer on Jason... I used to like the goalie mask...Over the years, the potato sack grew on me, it's much more scarier... both terrific looks. while the goalie mask is legendary - i've got to go potato sack. gave me the eerie feeling of a menacing demented scarecrow (ever see 'Night of the Scarecrow' - think that's what's it's called - or it's 'Dark Night of the Scarecrow - made for TV movie about a mentally challenged guy) |

I thought the sack looked kinda stupid, although bear in mind, this is seeing it after seeing plenty of the movies with the mask. Still gotta go with the iconic mask though.
