What is your favorite romantic comedy. Mine is Bridget Jones' Diary. That film triggered my crush on Colin Firth.

I'd have to go with The Holiday (2006). Very enjoyable movie to watch.
Some others I really like are
Love Actually Crazy Stupid Love Knocked Up Notting Hill 500 Days of Summer

I love Bridget Jones' Diary too. I also love Four Weddings and A Funeral and Nottinghill (all three movies were written by Richard Curtis incidentally).

Might be The Princess Bride
Or maybe The Sure Thing? I don't know.
Wet Hot American Summer is another I just thought of.
Overboard, that's a classic.

While The Princess Bride is a great movie with elements of humor I wouldn't consider it a comedy but a fantasy adventure. My favorite romantic comedy is Murphy's Romance, but there are many favorites.

Gary Marshall tried to make his version of it twice and ended up making the terrible "Valentine's Day" and "New Year's Eve". YUCK! Other great romantic comedies: Music and Lyrics One Fine Day Notting Hill The Holiday

My favorite is Annie Hall. I like Bridget Jones' Diary. Renée Zellweger is a great actor. But what really cracks me up every time is the fight between Mark and Daniel. It's hilarious!
Lately I've been catching Bridesmaids on tv. The more I watch it, the more I like it.

My favorite romantic comedy is the world's first which is the clothesline, the template, on which most other RCs are based. I'm talking about Will Shakespeare's mid-1590s comedy: Much Ado About Nothing.
There have been two movie versions, very different from each other, which Must Be Seen by any film fan.
Directed by Kenneth Branagh in 1993. Directed by Josh Whedon in 2012.
A very pleasant evening can be spent by watching them back-to-back.

Down With Love
How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days
Keeping The Faith
Love Actually
10 Things I Hate About You
And if ‘zom-rom-com’ counts as well, then Warm Bodies.

Typically they overlap with other genres for me such as The Princess Bride (1987); The Fisher King (1991); and Romancing the Stone (1984). In recent years though, I did like Hitch (2005) and just this year, The Big Sick.
