They've now added black and brown stripes to represent racial minorities, as if that had anything to do with sexual orientation (or gender identity, as the flag is now meant to represent transgendered individuals rather than exclusively lesbians, gays, and bisexuals). How convenient that they waited until the death of the original creator to change it. The whole thing is rubbish. Intersectionality is rubbish. Leave the flag alone.

Racial minorities who fall under those categories. And really, how's this any more offensive than continually adding letters to the acronym? I don't even know what the fucking acronym is anymore (LGBTQIAXYZ123?).

Why do racial minorities need special stripes on a flag that is already inclusive of racial minorities? Probably because those communities aren't always inclusive. Being LGBT does not automatically imply not being racist or xenophobic.

Well there is a higher homicide rate (+ sexual violence + assault) for trans women of color, often because they are pushed towards sex work. Really they should be working somewhere safe or prostitution should be legalized and normalized so they are working somewhere legal. But this likely won't happen hence why activism exists.

They are still already accounted for with the current flag. It represents sexual orientation and - most recently - gender identity. Race has no place in it. I wouldn't be happy if they added a white stripe to the top of it as well to appease the masses, either. It seems massively and intentionally disrespectful that they waited until the death of the creator to put a new spin on it. Race will never have anything to do with sexual orientation. I'm sorry. It just won't. LBTQIAPOC is not a thing.

The whole point of the flag is to be all-inclusive. What's next? Do we put The Greys and Unicorns on the flag too?
The intention, the spirit, is straight-forward (no pun), and tampering with it belies the integrity of its purpose.
I don't find this celebratory in the least.

Then how about instead of a black stripe for colored girls, which indiscriminately emphasizes all of them, we add a magenta stripe to target just those ones who are homicidal sex workers, reguardless of race (magenta is the opposite of green which is what poor people don't have)? I think the sexual deviant community is very classist. San Fransisco is like a giant gated community. They even named their bridge accordingly.
