That's fine that he's getting more work, but he shouldn't have to rely on franchises to keep his career afloat.

The third one was just pathetic! At least the FF movies are dumb fun. XXX 3 was just dumb! Besides the two franchises seem to be making movies with pretty much the same plot: Uncle Sam wants to nab a dangerous criminal and apparently Vin is the only guy who can do it. The entire American military might is just useless when compared to Vin and his gang, right?

Why? Return of Xandar Cage was poorly received and underperformed at the BO.

even Fasyt and Furious underperformed domestically franchise burnout possibly?. I think people still enjoy sequels and franchises. But the problem is there is way too many of them nowadays. It feels like every week some franchise movie is coming out. They need to start doing a better job balancing the sequels with more original content.
