I'm not sure if this counts, but I thought Cate Blanchett should've won for Elizabeth over Gwyneth Paltrow for Shakespeare in Love.

In no particular order:
-Stallone in "Creed" (unbelievably good performance from Sly...a love letter to what made him a household name. Staying out of the spotlight in Creed was about as classy as you can get.) -John Goodman in "The Big Lebowski" (Goodman is an underrated actor overall...check out "Red State") -Clive Owen in "Children of Men" -Viggo Mortensen in "The Road" -Don Cheadle in "Miles"
-Burt Young as Pauly in "Rocky" (he was nominated, but I think he should have won)
Agreed with a lot of the above picks, particularly Robert Shaw in "Jaws" and Jack Nicholson in "A Few Good Men." Tried to throw some new ones in there.
