I'm going to miss the actor who played Frey.
It was good to see him one last time.
I guess that was Ed Sheeran's part with Arya.

I forgot to add:
Sansa was totally right about Cersei & the Houses and if the story makes it so she is wrong, it will only be because thes story mandated it or there wasn't enough time to show she would be right.
I'm seeing a bit of Sansa hate for her talking back to Jon. Of course, we know Jon ain't going anywhere, so Cercei likely won't succeed in killing him.

It seemed that with Arya scoping out the threat they posed to her that they may try to jump her in the night or whatever. Maybe there'll be another scene next episode. They had red cloaks which made me think they were Lannister soldiers but I couldn't be sure. The Frey opening scene was fantastic. Winter has come for House Frey.

I don't know if Cersei is necessarily worried about Jon but rather more looking in all directions. The traitors all around us part seems apt. They have no support anymore...except Euron now. But yea, Sansa made perfect sense at that meeting. I get Jon snows plan of unification...but I also get her point about treason and loyalty. I think the main separation for everyone else and Jon Snow at this point is they're all still thinking about Houses and castles and how they can further heir own families whereas Jon is thinking big picture, white walker threat to everyone. And no matter how many times he mentions how pointless any infighting would be the Lords that haven't seen the army of the dead can't fathom how great a threat they really are. I also thought Leanna had some great scenes as well, again.

I also thought Leanna had some great scenes as well, again. I don;t think she's particularly worried about Jon except to say she will take advantage of an opportunity to get rid of him. Cersei doesn't need an army to get rid of her threats. My thing regarding Jon is that the unification he strived for already didn't include the Karstarks or Umbers. I'm not saying he should kill them, but he should have them manning the Wall or something & appoint a warden for their houses.

I'm pretty sure they were Lannisters I don't think that they were Lannisters.. At one point, Cersei mentions something on the lines of "And look what happened to the Freys" in the context that they need to be on their guard... If it were Lannisters, that conversation would have been a tad different.\ Just my 2 cents. Also.... Great opening episode!!

It seems to me... not that you asked me... that they are setting him up as the next Jeoffry/Ramsay character... The one that we are going to love to hate. He is sooooooo confident and driven, and not too dumb about it, that I'm sure that he'll seem almost likeable/admirable in his quest to be the next "Villain Du Jour".... and we'll hope that that day lasts a while.

I'll have to look again, but I think they said they were headed home and had to turn around because of what happened to the Freys. It also seemed they had the lion sigil on their swords, but it was a quick cut.

I think he is the setup for an awesome naval battle which we haven't seen much of. I also think he may have the dragon horn which would be the priceless gift (Or a head of a dragon or any combination of him being able to stop a dragon). I think people are mistakenly under the impression no dragons will die in this series. I also think he will be get into it with Jaime.

It will be awesome if he manages to kill a dragon as then it will even the odds a bit and we won't take the whole thing to be one sided affair.

I also think he may have the dragon horn I don't think that they've mentioned the dragon horn in the television show, yet... I'm guessing that the "priceless gift" is him bringing back Tyrion to Cercei. If Tyrion is a dragon rider at that point... Him using the horn to take him down will make for some great TV.

I suspect it could also be Dornish people who killed Cersei's daughter.

I'm hoping they will explain his accomplishments a bit more. However, it could be that it's not a big part of the show and he could instead be more of a redemption plot for the Greyjoys or a sense of doom for Cersei like they did with her last season. She is definitely being portrayed as someone with few options to win but that's sure to change. As much as Jon is being painted as the savior & Dany the leader everyone wants to follow, Cersei will be the one who will be the dark horse. Her without kids is a scary thing.
