I must admit, I hardly ever listen to Plastic Surgery Disasters. If it weren't for "Moon Over Marin", and "Halloween", I doubt I'd ever revisit it. And I much prefer Alice Donut's cover of "Halloween".

Fresh Fruit For Rotting Vegetables is one of my favorite albums. Not a clunker on the entire thing. Good ol' Jello !!

My 2 favourite Kennedys albums. It's amazing how much their music had evolved in such a short space of time.

Uber Allies was a bit overplayed back in the day... Holiday In Cambodia was much more my style. It was a sign from hell that Jerry Moonbeam Brown would be re-elected.

I never really feel like listening to them in their entirety, but if I happen to hear them by chance, I enjoy them well enough once in a while. Moon Over Marin is the best thing they ever did for me. Have you heard their third album Frankenchrist? It sort of picks up where side two of Plastic Surgery Disasters left off. A lot of the songs are in a style similar to "Moon Over Marin" and "I Am The Owl" - slower, "experimental" punk but with even more surfy twangy guitar and flourishes of psychedelia. There's even a synth-punk ditty ("At My Job"). I always thought Frankenchrist was their best album, definitely their most adventurous. However, it received mixed reviews when it came out.
