Ending was disappointing. Expectations for S2 are not to high. Can't recommend at this point.

Other than my first post in this thread, I haven't really been adhering to the 'favourite' part of the 'Favourite Non-English Language Television Series' thread subject. I've mostly just been mentioning non-English language shows that I've been watching, but I wouldn't really call many of them 'favourites' (other than the ones I first mentioned). Sorry about that. However, in the last few weeks I've been watching a French series called Les petits meurtres d'Agatha Christie (where I am, its title is Agatha Christie's Criminal Games). I can safely say this is one of my favourite shows I'm watching currently and easily joins the ranks of those other shows I mentioned in my first post. It's just so fun/enjoyable. www.sbs.com.au/guide/article/2018/01/31/5-reasons-why-agatha-christies-criminal-games-most-fun-you-can-have-murderI'm just annoyed that I missed the whole first season (and may have missed some of this second season - which is where I've started watching the show at - but am unsure, since they're airing the episodes out of order here for some bizarre reason). Anyway, it's good to find another non-English language show that I genuinely enjoy and look forward to watching each week. I'll be sad when it's finished. I wish I could get it on DVD here and catch the episodes I missed.

I discovered a new favourite non-English language show after watching Season 1 of the Italian-American drama television series My Brilliant Friend on DVD. www.imdb.com/title/tt7278862/en.wikipedia.org/wiki/My_Brilliant_Friend_(TV_series)It's adapted from the first of four novels by author Elena Ferrante. I wasn't sure about the show to begin with, but was interested in it after watching the trailer. About halfway through, I started really getting into the show, and by the end of the season I was wishing to continue watching it/annoyed that I have to wait for Season 2. I may not have always understood everything that was going on in the show or characters' actions, and it was tough to watch at times, but I found it pretty engrossing. It's been quite a while since I was this into a non-English language series.

S1 & 2 are on Netflix. S3 the show was renamed to Sorjonen, haven't seen it yet. Well done murder mystery where the lead detective solves crimes using his intellect and memory palace.
