Most people already know this that are into cars (especially film cars), but Bob Falfa's (Harrison Ford) '55 Chevy in American Graffiti is the same car that was in Two Lane Blacktop. Only painted black instead of primer gray. But here it is anyways: Thanks so much vegalyra Great shot I did not know it was the same car... but probably 35 years since I have seen American Graffiti !!

I wasn't a fan of the movie so much, but the truck that the demon (or whatever it was) was driving at the beginning of Jeepers Creepers was pretty "demonic".

In the 1932 pre-code small town drama Hot Saturday Nancy Carroll has many suitors. It was Cary Grants first starring feature but the most exciting and rare feature is the early roadster hot rod driven by Edward Woods According to enthusiasts it is a Ford Model T 1923-25. Front axle is must likely from a Franklin. Hood looks like a chromed stock T. wheels are Daytons ? V8 chrome engine...

Written on the Wind (1956) A fiery little sports car to match it's owner... The Woodill Wildfire was an American sports car built by Dodge and Willys dealer Blanchard Robert "Woody" Woodill from 1952 to 1958 in Downey, California. The Wildfire used a Glasspar fiberglass body and is credited with being the first complete fiberglass car available, only 300 were ever produced...

An excellent set of memorable classic automobiles there petrolino . I can't believe I actually forgot about these here too especially the one from the film - 'The Car' (1977) - 1971 Lincoln Continental Mark III ( the old tank cars as I call these - very well built too ! ) . There was also another film called - Black Cadillac 2003 The car featured in it I believe was this one - 1957 Cadillac Series 62 Convertible Of course the car in this one wasn't demonic but the driver behind the wheel was quite crazy . Which reminds of another like this - Duel 1971 The automobile was an old tanker truck - Tanker truck from movie Duel Thanks petrolino for your reply . 'Duel' is a great tv movie. One of my favourite Steven Spielberg movies from the 1970s also has some fabulous hood action, the gripping road picture 'The Sugarland Express' (1974). "The Sugarland Express marked the first use of a compact Panaflex camera developed by Panavision Corporation. The smaller, lighter camera made it possible for Spielberg to capture complicated shots from within the police car. These included the first tracking shot from front seat to back and the first 360-degree pan within a car in film history."
- Frank Miller, Turner Classic Movies
1969 Plymouth Fury
1970 Plymouth Fury
I'll have to check out John Murlowski's thriller 'Black Cadillac', thanks!

Thanks petrolino some great pics and for taking us off in this direction. Not my style but worth a mention here From Peter Weir's The Cars That Ate Paris (1974) modified VW Bug... The Australian car fantasies of Peter Weir, Richard Franklin, George Miller and Englishman Brian Trenchard-Smith produced some extraordinary looking vehicles. I like the insecticular exterior of that Bug.
