Future car from an older film. Journey to the Far Side of the Sun, aka Doppelganger apparently, this is a sister model to the car driven by Ed Straker in the British tv show UFO in the 1970s--I don't think this show ever aired in the US, as I never heard of it until now

Driven by Mike Hammer and featured throughout Kiss Me Deadly (1955) the very stylish 1954 Chevrolet Corvette C1 . This Corvette sports car was one of only 3,640 manufactured that year and this particular one is notable for being one of only four painted black.

The 1955 crime movie "A Bullet for Joey" takes place in Montreal. According to that movie, a chief inspector of the Royal Mounted (Edward G. Robinson) would be driven around in a 1954 Nash Statesman. How authentic that is, I cannot verify.

This is a Peugeot 402 sedan, this is the car model the that next Baron Frankenstein (Basil Rathbone) drives away in during the opening sequences of Son of Frankenstein 1939. I can't remember the car models but I'm sure there were cars in the early parts of Son of Frankenstein 1939, something that they soon forgot since the sequels used the traditional horse and carriage way of transport.
