What do you think.
I believe Get Out is number one this week followed closely by Lego Batman.
Get Out 26M
Lego Batman 25M
John Wick 9M
Fifty Shades 9M
The Great Wall 8.5M
Hidden Figures 6.5M (can't believe these holds...modern day My Big Fat Greek Wedding)
Split 4.5M (Get Out will hurt this)
Rock Dog 3M
Collide 2M
Besides Get Out, the other newcomers will not do good.

What I find amazing is that John Wick is actually a hit! The first one came in under the radar.

As for the new entries, it looks like the weekend estimates are as follows:
Get Out: 28M (Will win the weekend over Lego Batman) Rock Dog: 3.5M Collide: 1.5M
Get Out over performed Studio expectations by over 10M. That was on a production budget of just 5M. Wow! Blumhouse is killing it this year with it's low budget thrillers (Split being the other).

Official Results are in. Get Out 35M (well deserved) Lego Batman 19M John Wick 2 9.3M Great Wall 9.1M 50 of Grey 7.7M Fist Fight 6.5M Hidden Figures 5.8M La La La 4.6M Split 4M Lion 3.8M Rock Dog 3.7M Dog's Purpose 3.5M Collide 1.5M Three newcomers this week with only Get Out having any success. Get Out blew past studio expectation by 15M. I underestimated it as well. But I'm happy it did so strong. Hidden Figures is doing great with only a 19% drop. It's past 150M domestic this weekend. Only La La Land and Lion had lower drops. (Lion actually had an increase). What are your takes on the box office this week?
