*SPOILERS AHEAD*BUT, John Connor is the bad guy? Really?! I feel so betrayed. Agreed. I didn't like that at all. I felt the same way when the first Mission Impossible movie made Jim Phelps the bad guy and had him betray the entire team and then Ethan Hunt (a character that was never even in the TV series) is made the protagonist for the franchise. I stopped watching any more Mission Impossible movies after that.

Of course not. It was pretty good. The John Connor thing was disappointing though, yes. And the fact that they didn't bring back Edward Furlong for the role.

Furlong looks nothing like his future counterpart from T2, he looks like a teenager still and is a worse actor now than he was as a child.

It is actually one of the few things about the movie I like. I am too young for the original M:I show so I wasn't bothered by the stuff fans would have been bothered by. I had no idea Ethan Hunt was a made up character for the movies. Interesting.

I expected crap and I got crap, so no. Well I say crap, it actually wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. At least it is vaguely entertaining.
Most disappointing films for me would be SW: The Phantom Menace, Jurassic Park III, Matrix Reloaded and maybe The Simpsons Movie.
